Have A Heart
I can understand that some people can refuse to eat meat because of the cruel way in which animals are raised and killed. But I have the same sentiments towards vegetables and I must object in the strongest terms against the practice of calling a brain-dead person a cabbage or a vegetable. Vegetables have feelings too.Animals still have the option of running away when hunted. They can seek shelter against the sun, rain, and wind, while the poor vegetable is chained to the little piece of real estate where we have imprisoned him. There he must stand there day after day, in the sun, wind, and rain, enduring immense pain while rodents gnaw at his few remaining leaves that the frost of the previous night missed.
Then, after we have robbed him of a carefree youth by propelling him into adulthood with the use of fertilizers, which is the plant equivalent of humans using anabolic steroids, we grab him by the hair, and jerk him out the ground, depriving him from his water and mineral supply to die an agonizing death. Plants take weeks to die, and when you consider the effect of the withdrawal symptoms (after we got him hooked on fertilizers) it is barbaric to say the least.
So when next time you cut up or shred a vegetable, know that it is probably still alive; yelling and moaning silently – all vegetables are mutes. Have compassion when you put salt on those fresh wounds and when you put it in the boiling water, think of the pain and suffering that you are causing. But given the life of misery already endured, death may come as a mercy.
I’m sorry if this blog has upset you, but vegetables cannot speak for themselves and somebody has to speak up on their behalf. I don’t think I’ll eat vegetables again. Hmm, I think I must make a good green bean stew for tonight.
Be kind to a vegetable today.

Apples are very healthy, but you have just ruined this one's health.
Do you think we can use green peppers in a carrot stew?
The only way to kill a green pepper humanely is to shoot it with a silver bullet through the heart.
Just be kind to vegetables today and eat only meat.
I often smash them with machine... Oh, merciless heart of me.
But I prefer some meat in my stew.
Heartless indeed. It is like putting your finger through a mincer.
I say a stew should be all meat and no veggies.
What is left for us to eat now...
The answer lies in Japan. Maybe it is time to take professor Ikeda serious.
Hmm, I my memory serves me right you were the one who said she'll never eat porcupine meat.
Some people are known to have lived for years without any food at all - just SUN energy.
sun Energy? Does it come in a capsule or is it an injection?
I used to do sun gazing for a few months, a few minutes every day increasing 10 seconds each day until you reach 45 minutes maximum.
I must admit, my energy level was a lot higher then and my appetite had also lowered.
However, I don´t know exactly how long people go in the sun in order to stop eating altogether???
I will need to check it up.
I spend a lot of time in the African sun. I must admit though that it has never dampened my appetite. I do enjoy the sun and definitely do better in summer than in winter.
We may be heading that way.
I'm not really sure whether I should be here or not but I, too is guilty of hurting lots of veggies...and also for posting some crazy blog below here I am, you can chastise me now and I'll accept whatever punishment you'll hand me... just don't be too tough
Who is going to chastise you? The first law of nature says 'Eat or be eaten', so which way is it going to be?
I'd rather eat...but next time I'll apologize to the veggies before I do them any harm
Will a porcupine do? It has the color and texture of lamb but it tastes like duck.
It is best not to talk to them. Just kill them humanely. Use a magnum 45, not your knife.
I prefer to eat them raw...while they're still alive
I find the thought that some higher species could ruthlessly butcher me for their meal food chain...
Here in Africa it happens all the time. Crocodiles are the main culprits, but lions also do from time to time. But that is not our normal position in the food chain; we are eaten at another stage.
Maybe not the worms but something will eventually, or do you think that your ash will not eventually end up back in the natural cycle?
Oh! Great. Now you don't want people to eat vegetables and fruits!....
Well, some people don't want me to eat meat, so I'm also difficult.
Do you know why popcorn jumps like that in the frying pan? It is alive and that oil is warm!
And also! Jump right into my mouth too. ...
Just Saying!.....
That just maybe! In your country.
But! Not here, dude...
So sorry, I think I can't be kind to them almost everyday.
Am I too cruel?
