Its......"The Benny Hill Show!".............
I use to love to watch Mrs Brown's boys.. love this episode.
Land of the Giants, was one of my favourite programmes
liked sooty and sweep also oh" and of course Andy Pandy and the flower pot men
sure missed those programmes when we left England in the early 70's..
Also enjoyed the Two Ronnies, and the Russ Abbott show.
I come from a mixed background, so the humour resonated. I remember my mum being weak with laughter over Mind Your Language, in particular.
I also remember experiencing a lot of unpleasant prejudice in my childhood. I wonder how much those programmes contributed to humanising people from different cultures - I remember becoming very attached to the characters.
I'm not too familiar with UK TV, but I agree with Nam, one of the shows I used to watch here late night, was The Benny Hill Show. Loved it!
Have a cool day.
Morecombe & Wise , Kenny Everett , The Two Ronnies , Tommy Cooper , Open All Hours , Last Of The Summer Wine and loads more
I remember The Two Ronnies...very funny show...many of the British shows were really good...Americans have many TV shows modeled around them...one was Three's Company...
