I went to a donut shop and this pretty young woman completely ignored me by casting her eyes down. Then she slinked away as if "pretending" I wasn't even there.
I told the owner that I wouldn't be back! YES!!! My money spends good anywhere!!
That's very sad...
I'd like to think that where I came from, we still respect and value our elders...and same here where I'm living now...the voice of the elders still matters and highly respected.

Your job is on the line when you do not see those that came before you.
As I age, I see the young and they want from me because I know!
Years a younger person came to the salon and saw me and said I want someone younger,
as I giggled I said you deserve someone younger (dumb funk) and walked away.
I love life and I have lived, my hope for the young, is to live as long as I have!

Crazyheart...that is a nice thing in that cafe what they did.
I don't usually feel bad about these things but I think I need my hair done and I would feel better.
