Am confused

Is that a new way of saying "I'm"?

I'm not native and I really want to know whether "Am" is the new "I'm".

It tickles me when a guy writes "Am", it's like an alarm that he's a scammer but recently lots of guys do that, so honestly, am confused :D

Hans, Ken,

am very happy to be enlightened by you two :)
Am is the lazy way of saying I am. It should be "I am."
Any more help I can be, just ask. Bye
Sar,

I heard a long time ago that the English language is the most difficult language to learn. There are so many things that really do not make sense (cents, scents).<----for example. grin
Personally starting a sentence with I'm wouldn't worry me, but the am sounds a bit trendy for me laugh

Johnny, English isn't hard, GB has pence, it's you Americans that complicate it with cents professor rolling on the floor laughing
Am without the I is a red flag. I never heard it's unacceptable to start a sentence with I. I do it all the time. Did you catch that?
The only time you can properly begin with Am is an interrogative followed by the letter I. Am I not understood?
Having been born, raised and educated mostly in England, and although i'm not an expert when it comes to the Queens English, i have always thought it correct grammar to write at the beginning or within a sentence the words "I am" (or I'm) rather than just "Am", unless a question is being asked about yourself like "Am i ?" for example.
Anyway, whenever i see the word "Am" used without the letter "I" either preceding or following, i tend to view the author as not having English as their native language professor

Am happy if that's been of any any help to you sasasvathy uh oh laugh
