Respect is key for me. If a potential partner does not respect me, then the relationship is doomed to failure. As long as respect is there, any problems the couple faces can be confronted head on as an equal partnership. A sense of humor and a playful spirit in regards to life and it's challenges, goes a long way in sustaining a successful relationship.
Money and looks are not so important as inner beauty and personality.
