Huh.

I think I might be offended. Got the following text from a friend I have dated in the past.

I have a date!

With a woman!

A real woman!

Who doesn't seem completely bonkers!

Well, of course I congratulated him but - um? I did text back that I was struggling to find a compliment for myself in there. He changed the subject. grin

I'm not sure staying friends is ALWAYS a good idea. rolling on the floor laughing

Well, elegs, it's a new day. Are you all sorted now? laugh
All sorted laugh

And have learned a lesson - yet again - in blogging. NEXT time I will know to explain in painful detail that we text regularly, are in touch 2 or 3 times a day, we ARE on friendly terms, and this wasn't a text out of the blue. sigh

Thanks for the sympathy, though, from those who offered it, it was appreciated if unnecessary hug
Nah, I understood what you meant...similar stuff has happened to all of us via text and in real life. The difference between the two is that, in real life, we know we've goofed as soon as the words come crashing out of our mouths so there's no lag time before the "I'm so sorry", "that's not what I meant", etc are delivered in great tones of remorse c/w hand wringing. Sometimes we even get to ask a "what did you just say?" question and the "I'm so sorry" starts all over again. laugh
Oh well perhaps those who say exactly what is on their minds have the right of it ... rolling on the floor laughing
laugh Either way though...............tongue You should
be more forthcoming.conversing wave
