Lucky Bamboo Plant

The meaning of lucky bamboo plays an important role as a living example of the feng shui elements of water, wood and earth. When you place this plant in the correct pot, it can introduce fire and metal to complete a balance of the five elements. This plant is one of the most recognizable and popular feng shui cures. It's an easy care plant that can survive in any kind of light. Feng shui principles claim that bamboo attracts auspicious chi energy. Since the bamboo plant is strong, it can energize your home.

U get them in single bamboo sticks (short or long), or a few bound together, in a nice pot, from Chinese restaurants and shops, in SA.

U will have to shop around to see where u will get them in ur country.

interesting we have bamboo here but they are so huge they are the big ones that grows very long,
this is a china plant?
Georgie. I grew up with he big kind, but the small ones are about 10cm x 1cm, and the big ones 30cm x 10cm. They r very cute and pretty to look at. Yes they r Chinese make, imported.
I have 2 bamboo sticks full of leaves, afraid to plant them in dirt, not sure how they will do, I have mine in a small vase with water and color glass stones, they have alot of root's
M. U must not plant them out in dirt. If they r becoming to big for the pot, get a bigger pot and hold them together, while putting in pebbles into the container. It will now naturally stand by itself.

Make sure the container always has water.
ok i dont think i will find that here though saw a flower show yesterday but honestly the flowers didnt catch my eyes i love flowers had quite a collection until they start stealing then from my garden and i just gave up.bouquet
Georgie. Why don't u have flowering plants inside then? U can buy flower boxes that stand on the windowsill, inside.
The guy up the road bought a lucky bamboo plant. He forgot to water it and it died. The next day his dog got ran over by a bus.
Pat8. U'r joking yes? Some of my bamboos had died from old age, and nothing happened to my household, incl animals.
