But since I have moved a few ladies I know in a walking club (we go group walking once a week)
Today I am far more apprehensive and offer kindness with caveats. I will not be taken for a ride, and now need to determine if the person that I am offering the kindness to deserves it or not.
Unconditional kindness from me is a thing of the past.
Having said that I do enjoy giving kindness when I feel that I can.
This move maybe the best ever

U don't find it often, it is mainly a show to pretend ur someone u r not at all. Just for the show off.

Ok Snooks...but my life isn't in the least bit boring....lately I kind of wish it was! But then, we must always be careful what we wish for!

And yes. I am very true. More so than most want.
Obviously sometimes you find it and sometimes not.
It's not very often that you see kindness anymore that is why I view it as being rare sometimes.

Snooks Obviously Lucy has her opinions and obviously we have ours.
WE all have different experiences obviously.
There's really nothing for me to understand as far as I can see.
e.g. In a supermarket, it is ur job to be friendly with customers. U don't do it because u want to. So I pick up on actions like that and see it for what it is. It is definitely not kindness.

But Snooks do you agree that anyone has a right to their opinion whether you agree with them or not?
Obviously people view and experience things differently then you and I do.
Wasn't it you who spoke about Freedom of speech?
When you create topics don't you expect others to give their opinions?Or just agree with you and not have their own opinions.
We live in a cruel world, and it is up to us, to make it better, for he under privileged. The rest should be able to take care of themselves. If not a friendly word in the right ear, and all is sorted.

Well, CC and Snooks, thankkfully not all my experiences have been negative. There've been enough positive experiences with people that allow me to still believe the best in others. For sure, shallow people exist, Snooks, but I'm not one of them. However, I'm not completely naive as I do choose the people I care about very carefully.
Lucy Not all of mine have been totally negative either.
I know there are some good people too and don't believe that all people are bad.
Like you I'm not naive either and am very careful in choosing people who I care about too.
Doesn't mean you are wrong in your thinking.
We r all different. If not it will be a boring world.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion. It is a human right.
I have said and thought that for most of my life.
It is one of the most important things in the world.
Something we have to take out of the attic, dust off and realise it is of prime importance.
