@Non, thanks for being the first poster. Sad to say, the latest news was that he was suspended for doing that. Catholicism is very hierarchical. One can't simply do something different without the go signal of someone higher. When I was in my early 20's, I attended a search in a Dominican convent. There I happen to know a sister who was a doctor by profession before entering the nunnery. She told us how she would sneak out of the convent just to treat the sick in some depressed areas. She did that because the go signal must come from the Vatican and there's so many process before her request reach the Vatican. That's one reason I hesitated to enter.
@lou, wow again! At last, I have one of the nice ladies of CS. Me, too, I just can't understand why he was suspended. But the flock, though speaking in vernacular(It happened in the Phils just this Christmas) did enjoyed the whole show and the fact that he was near his flock while singing. I like the the song very much and ditto for his choice of song.
