Communicating
One of the ancient Maya prophecies foretold of a time when the people would have the ability to talk to each other any at time that they wished at any distance that they found themselves at. They believed that there would be nothing that could interfere with their inter-reactions and their ability to communicate. But the prophesy warned that with the ability would come a dire reaction.
For some unexplained reason, the people would stop listening.
Is that not where we find ourselves now?
With so many ways to talk to people, we seem to hear and understand less...........

I read of a fascinating story once...and this was the last tribe of Australian Aboriginals who possessed that ability.
They became disillusioned with the setup in Australia then and trekked off into the deserts - never to return. All this was documented by an Australian white woman who accompanied them.
The tribe slip up into 3 smaller groups (easier to forage for food) on separate paths with her in one of them.
She learned en-route that each group were still communicating with each other over vast distances telepathically and vowed to return purely to expose to the world this amazing ability.
It was done and I think a movie or documentary was made from her discovery and numerous notes. Am sure if one Goggles this info, it will be found...
Guilty....
Its like when you hear a commercial on tv , do you bother to want and understand it,
Some people can use telepathy today.
We do not need appendix in body, so you would think we would have evolved by now without one
I thought when young the amounts of smokers we had then we would all evolve with chimmneys on our heads.
Same as communications you could say we will evovle without ears or but both will always be needed.
Many prohesies around but I reckon they were guidlines from far thinking people.
Face to face or one on one conversations are becoming less & less of the norm.... People are losing that simple ability to converse.
Sitting around a bonfire listening to or revealing folklore, telling stories, gazing at the stars, looking for patterns...or looking for shapes in clouds...history!
Heck! even reading a simple book is beyond many, these days.
They may not believe it it, nor want to know it...but like the vine, whatever fruit-age is remaining...it tends to last that long then is gone.
The life force is not renewed.
Profound change rather than death as we know it.
I spoke at great length with an elderly Maya gentleman about this. He told me that it was not the end of time, but rather the beginning, and that we would no longer need our bodies, or to eat, or to breath and that we would become beings of pure energy. I argued that that would make us dead, but he insisted that we would still be alive in a different form.
For what it's worth........
