They were all catch and release but I had fun all the very same doing what I've always loved to do.

We call Them here on The east coast
"Callico Bass"................................
All the years I've been fishing I never knew what they actually were until someone told me.
Amazing what you find out.
When The sun is right
You can see Them There under The water

Most of them are black
But here and there
You will see an Orange Red "Goldfish" Amongst Them......................
Its almost dark here now

Whenever I get one on my plate I call it gone.
While out camping in a tent and I mean roughing it,I've built a campfire where I have placed some melted butter in a cast iron frying pan and sprinkled some salt/pepper and talk about good.
I've also wrapped the fish in aluminum foil and sprinkled on seasonings and laid them on an old frig shelf.
Oh well! I'm only out here for fun anyway.

I thought I saw some deer drinking at the other end of this pond.
I also hear some coyotes in the distance yelping as they do.
I'm getting ready to head back up the hill from the pond so I can head on home.
