While Driving The Truck The Other Day On The Highway..A Car Went By Me In The Fast Lane(As All The Cars Do)And Its More A Formality Than Anything Else ..For Me To Gaze Over Quick At The Vehicle Passing By
And What Did I See?
Two Little Kids..In The Back Seat..Staring At Me From The Rear Window...Pumping Their Arms Up And Down..As If They were Pulling On A Cord
I Knew What That Meant
So..I Let The Truck Horn Go...It Blew For About 5 Seconds
You Cant Imagine The Joy On Those Kids Faces!!
They Were Absolutely Thrilled!!
They Were So Happy I Blew The Horn..That
They Were Jumping Around In The Back Seat!!
It Made Me Feel Good That I Gave Them A Thrill
It Brought Me Back To When I Was A Little Kid
When We'd Motion For The Truck Drivers To Blow Their Horns
(And They Always Did)
It Gave Us A Thrill When We Were Little
And Now?
I Find Myself Doing It
