Having said that, when someone I care about is hurting (courtesy of a coward) and I'm in 'that' kinda mood, you don't want to get me started

u know i only get that way when my love is awaken and not fed

yes of course i agree it goes both ways but since the man is the one that is the leader in a relationship i speaking for the women.
they may not lead the household no more (head of the table ) but they are the one when in a relationship most times make certain crucial decisions , such as pop the big question,decide if they want to a child .

It does work both ways.
I recently seen somewhere (I forget) where some lady would deliberately flirt and play with men, getting them attracted to her. All of this when she had no intentions on getting serious with them.
Her statement to his behavior was something on the lines of, "I am just giving them what they want."
Really? Like men want their emotions toyed with.
Once somebody is sensing the conversation/relationship is going to a place they do not feel comfortable with, they should inform the other person.
I think that is being mature.

Nobody should lead anybody on. You do not know the other person's state of mind. Maybe they are in a very fragile mental state? Who knows...they could become devastated and do personal harm to themselves. Yes, that is a bit extreme....but possible.
