There Is So Much Of Road Kill On The Highways...Some of These Road Kill Victims Have Been There So Long... That They Have Shriveled Down To The Size Of A Pancake......Deer Seem To Be The Number One Victims Of Vehicles By Far As They Hardly Ever Run Across The Highway..And During Night Time...Is When They Are Likely To Be Killed...As The Headlights Seem To Make Them Freeze In The Middle Of The Highway...And If Youre In A Car...And You Hit One...It Will Cause You More Damage To The Front End of Your Car Than A Lot Of Vehicle On Vehicle Accidents...A Lot of Tractor Trailers Have Gaurds Put On The Front Of Their Trucks...Some ...I Would Say... Are A Little Bit On The Overkill Side...As What They Have On Their Trucks Could Knock An Elephant Off To The Side of The Highway...Of Course... If Your In A Car...You Can Swerve...The Big Rigs Cant Do This(As It Is A Certain "Roll Over" Disaster For The Driver)...If Theres Anything In The Middle of The Highway....Possibly Including A Human...Consider Them A Goner...As Theres Nothing A Big Rig Driver Can Do But Keep On Coming...He Cant Slow Down(As Cars Can...)Some... Hauling As Much As 40 Tons Altogether...And Going At 65 Miles An HourAnd If You Get Broke Down In The Middle Of A Highway..On A Blind Side Of A Bend...Get Ta Hell Out Of Your Car And Get To The Side Of The Highway
I Wouldnt Want To Make You A Victim Of Road Kill
But I Would Suspect...If Its A Human Carcass..It Will Be Carted Away.....Nobody Wants To Run Over Anything...Be It An Animal Or A Human
(Although There Are Some People... Id Be "Wishing And A Hoping" ...To Be In My Path... In The Middle of The Highway)

The Only way...At This Point In Time To Enforce "No Texting While Driving" Laws Is
After theres An Accident
Then They Check The drivers Phone To See If They Had been texting At The Time Of The Accident........................
I've also seen what hitting a deer can do to someones vehicle.I was told that the headlights of a vehicle can cause the deer to stop in their tracks.
Obviously truckers can't stop on a dime like non commercial vehicle can.
Obviously people are going way way to fast on the highways and couldn't care less.Plus all the speeding on the off and on ramps.

In The Backwoods..They Turn On Those Lights
The Deer Stop...And Stare At The Lights..And then They Shoot The Deer.....................................

While living in Lower Michigan years ago I use to hear reports from the DNR many times about poachers who would be caught shining deer.
