Is it better to say "NO" or we should wait?

How do you think what will be the best choice?

If you receive very warm letter from another person but you FEEL something he is not what you need, is it better to say "NO" at the beggining or continue conversation?

Ive always believed that its never good to give someone false hope, whether intentional or not. i would try and set the records sraight from the beginning :)
Depends on your values as a person. Would you like to send a 'warm letter to someone' and they say no before they got to know you?
I would tell back what I feel and let to that person the choice to continue conversation.

Always good to have e-friends
THank you for your opinions! :-)
I always follow the gut feelings.
say what u feel...
say "no" as a possible lover but maybe yes as a possible friend ;)
In all fairness, if I don't feel a connection early, it does not usually change, so I usually say what I think but I do it nicely. Afterall, you just want to say 'no'. You don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.
Since when does anyone care whether or not someones feelings get hurt?
Don't be to fast acting on how you feel. First impression can trick you, i know. The person can actually turn out to be something extra ordinary when taken a second and third look.
if he lives close meet up for a coffee whats the harm and you get a better idea what he like
if a chick ain't into me she needs to say so .... and do it early on ..... that way i don't waste my time ..... The time of our lives is extremely valuable ....... don't waste anyones life ....
never say no. neither in personal matters. nor business. just dont say yes. or say nothing.
