Some 92 microquakes were recorded in Adeje and Vilaflor in the space of four hours, with one measuring more than 1.5 on the Richter scale professor

I'm not giving much credence to the rumour the seismic swarm has been rectified by fitting a rubber pad between the headboard & wall in Sola's bedroom roll eyes

Z, Publicity Stunt perhaps, She was only featured 23 times in a day in one newspaper.

Maybe Tenerife could have a pretend robbery to highlight the fact there could be lava spewing down the roads, Let's hope Sola enlightens us as to what's happening.

OB, it's not magnitude but the frequency & the fear the volcano could blow wow That part of the world is vulnerable to major events, a neighbouring island is reckoned to be due for the world's most powerful event, an eruption, as happened a few thousand years ago, will cause such a volume of material to be dumped in the sea the resulting tsunami will wipe out coastal areas of southern Europe, north Africa & the eastern seaboard of the USA, with a wave 200 metres high, on the plus side my house will be classed as beachfront property afterwards uh oh

OB, no scientific fact, I mean as far you can trust scientists these days, the last time it happened was reckoned to be behind the bible stories about the parting of the sea, we've all seen how the water disappears just before a tsunami hits. The evidence of the previous time is partly fossils of sea creatures found on top a mountain in the Canaries & calculations of the displacement of rock falling into the sea professor

Luckily that is not the island our Homeland Security keeps one eyeball on. Of course if that one does blow, there probably won't be much warning. The one in the article, yawn. Some lava and a fireworks show. Not a biggie way over here. The other one, well no one really knows a good defense against a thousand mile wide tidal wave.

Ken, indeed, I'm trying to remember the tv documentary I saw about it a couple of years back, I can't recall if it would travel 40, 60 or 200 miles inland on the east of the USA dunno but hopefully it'll be another few thousand years from now & maybe there will be an answer by then dunno

Sooooo much fun. That poor robbed woman's ears must be burning - a mercy she no longer has ear-rings. I assume she no longer has ear-rings? I really am very stupid, have heard her (them? I think there is more than one?) mentioned on the radio and always instantly pictured the Cardassians.
