Rights

I'm getting very tired of hearing about all of these different rights that people seem to think that they have.

I don't think that we have any rights at all. At the very best, we have a limited group of temporary privileges that can be revoked for any number of reasons.

I will be very interested in hearing from anyone that can show me an example of an inalienable right. A right about anything that can not be revoked, refused or otherwise taken away.

I think that we used to have some pretty strong privileges that approached being rights, but that was a long time ago.

Oh, and don't feel obligated to restrict your opinions to only America.

I give you the privilege to be multi national or even global.

So true...so very true but unfortunately the believe in having all kinds of rights became bigger than religion. To me it seems like the rights people come up with are getting more and more ridiculous.

I was brought up that with rights came responsibilities.

I have the right to choose the way I want to live and know it is my own responsibility to get there.

I guess a right to live the way you want, whilst not affecting the rights of others in society would be the way to go.

But as some other poster mentioned, with rights come responsibilities. And many people tend to forget that side of things.

Legislating extra rights for different groups is where I have a problem. It's just a crafty way of stealing.

Jungle rights may be close to inalienable rights, until you get caught.

Well, my goodness. I see that whilst I was asleep some bloggers have made there presence known. But you've all come without rights. I don't see a single one. I suppose that the only right that remains is the right to hope. They can't take that one.

We all have a right to are own opinions and a right to like love who we want I think we forget sometimes that rights are made up! the ones that really matter will always stand!

Funny some one who's up for a laugh .honest and normal. People say looks are not important but i think that's not true because if i don't fancy you then there's not much point!
