Like I said before its good to have both sides of the story,
Thanks for posting this info, always worth seeing the other side of things,
I know their are some Americans that are as blind in their patriotism as some Muslims are blind in their religion.
All are idiots that I consider to be Extremist.
And fascist in ideology if the try to silence opinion.
Sure its OK to disprove an argument.
But blanket statements like
"You're anti American"
and such are just nonsense and to be expected from some..

Thats my opinion on things.

Z I won't retract it my point is every blog that I have read as of late from many over sea's individuals is a hate and general ill feeling towards America and its government I can take a joke and play along as well as the next fellow the reason I pointed this out and said it is, it is all doom and gloom no one reads up or posts about our reforms and strides to feed the needy and homeless in my mind it is a valid question and observation

Shaken as a person from overseas I actually read those as concern. You must know the saying 'when America sneezes the world catches a cold' - your country has a giant impact on ours.

So yes, recently we have been caught up in your election crisis, and we do see it as a crisis. So do a lot of Americans.

And yes, you've made huge strides and I for one am extremely relieved the current sabre-rattling is while Obama is in the hot-seat, because although he is bizarrely hated by some bloggers here I don't think anyone ever called him a hothead or pumped up on drugs or the accusations being hurled at the candidates.

Non, it confirms some of the points I've made in recent blogs, seems to me Russia feels threatened, looking at the facts I can't say I blame them.

As for being accused of being a mass murderer, sort of reminds me of the tactics seen in the presidential election, throw some mud & hope some sticks.

And LAST point, when it comes to comments being made, I strongly resent when bloggers from the US or elsewhere mock our royal family as useless and parasitic without knowing sweet FA about the values of a figurehead family and the proven link to more stable countries so I know where you are coming from.

Shake...not to say your observations are incorrect about some of the nastiness thrown our way, because you are correct. But, there is so much media hype everywhere that it becomes a compelling opportunity for some to jump on that proverbial band wagon. There is a lot of bad stuff happening in America; as well as the rest of the world and many fingers pointing in many directions, but in the end we can only control our own thoughts and concerns and no one elses........

Shaken, I've posted this blog in the full knowledge that a large percentage of our American members won't even read the article, because it's what Russia thinks, there's always two sides to story with the true somewhere in between and the reason there are so many blogs on America at the moment is as Biff says, what happens there affects us all, often us more so than you, we're closer. All the blogs I've seen are not anti American they're anti the way American foreign policy has gone in resent years, this has no bearing on the American people but rather who ever it is who's working the politicians, we really have no interest in how you run your country other than when we think it threatens us, now if I feel threatened how do you imagine the Russians must see it? That's why I see the current situation as so dangerous, we've all seen films\documentaries about how a pre-emptive might be successful & frankly I don't want to be underneath it which ever side it comes from.

Hmmmm. You know, when you think about it, governments are PROMOTING division and civil war! Scotland had a referendum that divided the country almost exactly in half (and they want another

) and the Brexit vote has, again, almost halved the country. The US is offering 2 presidential candidates so totally unlike each other that whatever the outcome of the vote, nearly half the country will be unhappy with the result.

I wonder why. There will be a reason, there always is, these things aren't accidental.

Why on earth would you want your country in turmoil, your population arguing fiercely?

Ian, for me the key word in your comment is fed, imo we are all fed from birth to a certain extent, but with the Americans, the Russians & Muslims it seems to go that step further, watch any announcement from the American president or an IS leader, the format is the same, standing in front of a flag & indicating god is behind them on whatever it is they're up to, the very notion a peace loving god would be behind anything that involved invading countries or chopping off people's heads for minor infringements is laughable, but the brainwashing with these images is relentless, I can only imagine the training process either sides forces go through but I'm not the least surprised by what you've said about their attitudes.
