posssible collapse of credit in usa

i've just watch a announcement speech from a ceo of Agora.inc Bill Bonner,that has stated this country(usa) is heading for a bad systemic shock,stating;americans are using more & more credit than the cash supply has to cover it .Theres about 4.5 trillion $$ in credit debt now,and only about 250 billion $$ in use in the usa ,its just exchanging from one hand to another.he also stated that if 1 company loses faith in getting its $$ back from all the credit ,it will slow down everything in its path,causing economic shut down. i'm sorry i cant get a link to prove thisdunno

Have at times thought of going back to paying cash for everything.
I was raised this way in Holland you paid cash
But that means writing checks and I have heard that checks will soon be out so then what to do?
I have only one credit card and pay it off every month.confused wave

You can always go back to the pre-credit card era and use cash but the banks will still find a way to rip you off

I also heard on the news yesterday that more and more people are using credit. It is difficult for the average person not to. Something goes wrong in their homes and their wages barely cover their living expenses. Terrible a working person cannot make a livable wage in most places in this country. Their all in cohoots. the banks the politician, big corp. Wonder if I will live to see the day when they have to eat each other. They all ready killed off middle class. dunno JMO
