Epiphany

I've recently been staying round a friends house and it got me thinking about things. About relationships, friends, goals in life, pretty much everything (you can tell i had alot of time on my hands and im a big thinker :P) Relationships are not the main priority in life, its the people you meet and keep with you throughout your life. So why am i putting so much pressure on myself to find someone? Im fortunate enough to have really close friends that have always been there for me. So was it just Intimate attention i was seeking? i dont know, but i do know that i appreciate people a whole lot more than i have done in the past.

Dont get me wrong, im still hoping for the girl of my dreams but i think i can safely say that now i can wait for her and (hopefully) make her feel like the only person in this world, and my own, that matters.

I think far too much for my own good :P

As we grow older, our views on relationships and what we want seem to change. If we meet someone, that is great, but if not our lives won't fall apart. It is good to have friends, but I don't have any, yet I have a full life of my own.

The younger people seem to be in such a rush to get something going. It seems to them like now or never. If they would just wait, they would find who they are looking for and would probably stay with that one person. peace
Thinking is good, overthinking is when things go a little wonkey.
And to put it another way, your whole life is filled with relationships, not always romatic ones though.

And I think alot of us put pressure on ourlseves to 'find someone' mainly because we just don't want to be alone anymore.
Some have taken years to come to that conclusion, others are always out looking for someone, anyone to alliviate their loneliness.

Now that you've had your epiphany, you more likely to be able to choose someone to be your partner, and not just someone to take your mind of things.

Kudos.
