Wheel house

Seems to me it is funny that if I contact someone and I am maybe a year older than there limit that they would reject me. They would rather sit alone . Some have been on here hunting for years. Yet when approached by someone that shows some interest they will not even answer his or her request. Are people on here just to see if someone will like their picture. Am I the only one serious. I contacted a woman 30 min after she signed in for the first time. That was 3 weeks ago. Not even a HI HOW ARE YOU ? You would think she would be watching the email for a bite. Getting ready to give up and move on. If some one contacted me I would at least write back and check it out. If your opinion my wheel house it deserves an answer.

I've stated in my profile that I'm not looking and only here for the Forums and Blogs.

It's obvious to me that the men who contact me haven't read my profile and also want to exchange mail addies and phone numbers.
I just delete them all.

If I was looking I'd be looking in the real world not on the internet.


Maybe some women don't feel the need to contact you because they aren't interested in you.

Good morning darlings! I don't know how other people think really you can just reply to people's mails you got nothing to loose even if you don't like to way this person approach you. I recieved many mails from different countries like India,Canada,Ireland and othe they don't have way of saying things but i just reply to them in a good way it's up tohim to chane the way of communicating to be better!

mmmm well I used to use manners and reply , but when my profile states 100miles from me and I get some fellow from America saying (distance no object) (Age just a number ) doh pleeeseease I just deleteteddybear teddybear teddybear

Its just MANNERS it costs nothing to say yay or nay, and it leaves the asking person free to move on, instead of waiting for a reply, that he or she, does not know, if its coming or not.....

ITS CALLED MANNERS.!

I think it is manners to actually check out somebody's profile before emailing them, and see if you are within the range, geographic or other, of what they are looking for in the first place.

I used to try to respond to every email and I finally just quit. Especially those that just kept going "Hi". If the person approaches me with a conversation of good taste I usually will chat and get to know them because that's why I'm on here....to get to know people. You can tell that most don't even read my profile, though.

Thank u all for your comments. I read every profile before I send it . I have received reply and then nothing. They even go so far as ask questions. I answered and and then nothing. It is a shame that this site does not work. I am ready to give all this up.
