I saw the big moon at dusk! It was huge almost like the sun! And again after it got dark! Very bright! Loved it!

Some claim the moon's extreme perigee (nearness to Earth) will cause extraordinarily high tides and may trigger earthquakes.
The New Zealand earthquake a couple days ago...

BTW - The best time/place to view it is at moonrise (about 5:00 p.m. local time) someplace away from bright lights and with a clear view to the Eastern horizon.
I reckon, guess and calculate looking East over Lake Michigan oughtta be one of the best places in North Murka. Maybe the world!
There's a Moon party planned at Peace Park, Sheboygan, overlooking The Lake. It starts at 4:30. If y'all are in the neighborhood, stop by!

Here on the BIG Moon day there are some good photos from some photographers around but the photos on my blogs I took myself from my phone. A bit pity that I was busy and forgot the biggest time of the Moon until my sister reminded me I came to have a look and the Moon is just not so big as around 2 hours before that but still quite amazing from 41st floor with all dark down to the city and up to the Moon.
