Time Magazine's Person of the year

Trump, as expected is the recipient this year.

I know there's a lot of other people deserving to be given this yearly recognition and so my question is who would have you preferred and why?

Thanks for your read and comments if any.

Good morning Phy,

Well, I think it should be me!rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing No seriously, I think Trump fits the bill! Who do you think?thumbs up
That's the spirit my dear friend. Me, too, lol..

I'm not surprised my dear fellow Trump supporter.

Good morning wave
Are you in MN or CA?
Mr. Trump says he believes President Obama is more deserving and that he really likes Obama.
I'm in Minnesota but back to California by Christmas.
I heard that Ken, I'm beginning to feel as though more of being civil? And forgot his speeches?
Jim I'll call you later.
The main thing that he as other presidents wasn't at war, and thought of the country and people.
Uumka, beautiful lady nice to see you. bouquet

Yes indeed, hopefully there's going to be more peace than war.

How are you? bouquet
Why can't there be more than one person of the year?
.. very strange.
Jim good morning, yes there should be more than one. I agree.

I'm still reading your very provocatively political blog.

Very intuitive and a declaration of what global issues a man faces at this cruel world Jim.

Good morning. wave
Good point there Mic.

I can see how it can go either way, so award us not in anyway shape or form be used. More like recipient which can connote any direction.
Good Morning Lindsy, hug I don t know whats good about it, its minus 20 celceus here ,(minus 4 fahrenheit doh Here) Trump definitely is person of the year. He is forever being mentioned on the News channels, yours, ours , or international. The election campaign rhetoric has been left behind and he seems to be getting ready for being President. I don t see anyone else getting as much attention as hes gettingdunno Hope things work out okay for him, and your country.
Well LJ I agree with Miclee on this one !

Trump;
Personality of the year Perhaps some will agree,
but Person of the year I doubt he fits that bill. wine

But I suppose if you go by entertainment standards It must be true,
just like Hulk Hogan was the "WORLD" Wrestling Champion for ten years or whatever the Trumped up opinion of business man Vincent Kennedy AKA "Vince" McMahon laugh Who by a strange coincidence is also a "WORLD" Champion rolling on the floor laughing

And speaking of Trumped up opinions,
What about that time Magazine roll eyes
Ito, I'm in Minnesota at the moment and weather is mild compared to the other year, we're at 19 degrees and might snow today.

Brrrrr Ito, I hope you're burning a lot of woods to warm you up.
I definitely agree with you. He must have been mentioned a billion times. wave
Were it not for the clarification that it can be given to either being very good or being very bad, I'd have thought it differently. Of course in my personal criteria, Trump is in the good side even though less than the majority of the voting citizens in my country didn't feel like I do.

I am pretty sure we're opposite on this one. wave
I think they made a big mistake,it should had been Hillary.....she mastered to get 30000 emails destroyed in time and escaped prison even FBI found some classified e-mails and she lie in the Senate hearing......nobody has done that before,so if you are a master like that, then you should be for sure the person of the year.
Agree with you Semsu. What's with all her crimes generating all the news.wave
Hi LJ,
Just saw this on the local tv news. Apparently Beyonce the singer was also in the running.wine
An interesting perspective, Sems.

However, it would appear Hillary's intentions were to AVOID making news.

HI Luke wave

Yes I saw that although I never like her or her music.
Of course Mic with all her negative news, I wouldn't blame her.
Lin..
Should not the person of the year be the firemen who
died in heroic silence trying to save lives in 911?

Maybe the policeman shot in the head leaving several
children and wife with broken hearts..

Or the grandmother living in the backwoods of some
obscure region who gave her life savings to insure
the education of her grandchildren

The father who broke his back with three jobs
trying to keep food on the table

The mother's hand that rocks the cradle
with the comfort of her voice

The solidier who took a bullet in his brain
so that we could live in the surplus of our
imaginations

Time magazine is born of men

But the sacrifices of a million unsung
souls is written on the parchment of
heaven.

"Fame is the flower on a dead mans
grave."

Not sure if this is directed at me dunno But I never said trump is was or will be, a bad person.
Simply that he was more of a personality than a person when awards were being handed out.
That there were more fitting persons who deserved the title.

It seems you disagree with me but agree with Cafe on the exact same sentiment dunno
Cafe, in my book, you get all the recognition awards. cheering laugh cheers
Oh dear me Lord, String, Mic, Manu, Conrad, Cafe. everyone. Hellooo. wave
Hello Linsey..
I'm for America period. But my overiding concern is
crime in the streets, and the drug trade that's turning
millions into zombies.

help
Hello Cafe wave
