The National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has released data on the just passed hurricane season.
2016 was the eleventh consecutive(!) year in which NO major hurricane made landfall anywhere in the U.S.
None. Nada...In the ELEVEN consecutive years since Al's movie was released.
It is the longest such period in about a hundred and fifty years!
Seriously...could anyone have dared predict THAT over a decade ago?
Incredible.

I think there's been fewer, they've been lower in intensity, and no major hurricane has made landfall in the U.S.
