Prayer can be both, a request and an admission.
However I do understand concepts and principles of prayer as I was a Christian.
I really don't need a link to be able to pray as I do know how to and I'm not referrring to David's prayer or any other prayer that was written in the bible...I honestly know how to

At some point we all have to believe in something.
Our church and faith lives within us. God said so, therefore, we can pray silently wherever we are, using simple words, doesn't have to be sofisticated words to please God, nor copied from so and so.

Also, one important thing, God said "do not use my name in vain", and "when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do" . The message is very clear. Today, everything is business-minded. Where I live , there is an Orthodox church where right on the gates the huge sign reads "BINGO every Tues. and Thurs. evenings". Today, we experience what Jesus said "you turned my Father's home bazzar".
Simply rely to your inner voice, and stop copping others' prayers. If you need help don't turn into any utube but to Matthew 6 vers 5-13.
I am not heavy church goer, but I have my faith in my heart and know the Bible in my heart as well.
