Trump lies again

Trump bragged that the gathering in Washington D.C. for his inauguration was the largest in history, 2 photos taken from the top of the Washington monument shows less people there than a picture taken when Obama was

We have all seen the differences of the amount of people when looking towards the Capital building. In the 2nd pic of this link it also shows a closer look at the difference looking from the building.

You must consider the "alternative facts"*.
If he meant the inauguration with the largest audience - including televised, live streaming & such - he may well be correct.
This may be more of a statement about advances in technology rather than the relative popularity of Presidential Inaugurations.

That said, it's a bit silly this was brought up at all - let alone that it's being talked about on news after three days.
As unlao observed, there are more important issues.

*alternative facts - A Trump aide explained that Trump's Press Secretary, Sean Spicer presented alternative facts when describing the size of the Inauguration audience.
Yes. We now live in a world that includes "alternative facts".

I must look into this.
There are DEFINITELY some facts that I want to alter!! grin
