Hate is big business
A couple of blogs ago, Kal brought up the issue of Muslim hating. This is a really big deal right now. And of course the Muslim world hates America and Americans in general.Well, I'm sorry to disagree, but nobody hates anybody, in either direction. Yes, many people are very emotional and vocal lately, and some folks have even become violent and murderous. But it is a very tiny sliver of the populations on both sides.
The real problem is the few that have something to gain from all this chaos.
Whenever there is a large scale problem that needs to be resolved, I always look to where the money is flowing and who is standing to gain power or position.
It's not only the active characters that you have to watch, who are making money on selling arms, supplies, protection, and what have you, but also the people reporting and writing about it all. They are far from innocent by standers.
The media needs war and violence. The worse it gets, the more people tune in. The bigger the audience, the higher the price charged for commercial air time. The higher the profits for the media outlet, the higher the pay check for the news people.
Do you see the connection?
The average Joe does not care who you worship. The average Joe does not care what you wear or what you eat.
Most of the problems of our modern society are manufactured. Look beyond the headlines, and follow the money.
Maybe we will find something to hate after all.

The muslim world being ?..Of course there are many countries that dislike America, not just muslim countries, but not all muslims. Any country that has been invaded and caused untold suffering by another will be disliked by its countrymen,women and children.
Less powerful countries are insignificant, if it has something the USA wants, be it oil ,to and island it wants to build an air base on, removing its inhabitants.
The muslim world didn't come to the aid of there brothers and sisters in Croatia, the Middle east countries tend to look after there immediate neighbors, the only time Saudi comes to their aid is if they feel Whabbism is threatened, and they did this in the 70's when they felt communism was heading towards Afghanistan and Pakistan, call it a wall of defense.

Anyway, there is one statement you made on this blog of yours that I don't agree with. But I am not here to argue. I just want to say that I had similar Jeans to that of yours.
I think sometimes people tend to confuse FEAR for HATE
I try to stay away from it as much as humanly possible.
No TV, Newspapers, Gossiping about it either.
It does deliver food for thought and how the world is really run and by whom.
