In Punxsutawny.....This Traditon Was Started By The Editor Of A Local Newspaper Of
The "Punxsutawney Spirit"..In 1887...His Name Was Clymer H Freas
The First Reference To Ground Hog Day Was Mentioned On February 4 1841
In Morgantown Pennslyvania By Store Owner James Morris
On This Day...February 2nd.... "Punxsutawny Phil"...(The Local Ground Hog)...Will Come Out Of His Hole
And If He Does Not See His Shadow?.......Then That Means It Will Be An Early Spring
And If He Does See His Shadow?.................................Six More Weeks Of Winter
(There Are Other Ground Hogs.... All Over The Usa ....That Will Be Making Their Predictions Also
