What's in a word or phrase?

On one side of the abortion issue, it's called being for choice/womens' rights. On the other, it's called being pro life/support for the innocent unborn. Thesis-antithesis-but can there be synthesis? Aa.

What is a basic, fundamental human right should never be subject to any discretionary and arbitrary control by any form of "judicial" prerogatives, just as a person has the right to breath; can one imagine a judicial convocation to discuss outlawing breathing ...sigh
splitting hairs here from another man doh

I believe in euthanasia too.

we treat dogs better than humans.
This is a very hard topic to debate about as in the child is not at fault regardless the circumstance,................dunno
Same question to you scotty,
Non

I'll drink to that, thank you.cheers
Itchy I disagree,

A fetus having the right to life,
does not mean it has the right to use any womans body as a host for its gestation, that the Man chooses,

dunno
Smoker, not like you to come out with such a silly thing confused confused confused

That's like a scold child saying I didn't ask to be born.
Non....very good argument. thumbs up
Non, I could never take it out on the unborn child, if that shocking thing ever happened to my daughter, then I would support her but this is such a very hard topic to debate, very hard indeed,............handshake
Pro, I know of such dark places also ...
Though you may be right, you are also wrong. The wellbeing of the young mother is not always the case, SHAME has a handing in it too.

Smoker you asked a member what if it were one of his daughters.......
well what if one of your son's got a girl pregnant, it was unwanted by her so she opted to abort, but your son didn't want his child gone, asked begged pleaded to carry on with the pregnancy, he was willing to bring up his child alone and she need ever see the child again...for now, lets forget about the child's right, but I ask about YOUR child's right instead???
Itchy,
I think you are reading only part of what I wrote. dunno
Itchy

Yes shame plays a role aswell, that one word is crippling by itself.thumbs up
The rights of both mother and child are weighed by professionals,
Itchy

Im getting confused over comment positions now .. roll eyes

Going for a coffee hug
Aawave
It's the woman's choice.. her body, her life, I think.
grin
Smoker, your not the only one... I'm getting confused between comments as well, any chance you could make me a coffee alsoroll eyes wink

I've re read and DO know/understand what your saying but sorry dude, I'm at a total loss concerning your reply about your son's right if she wanted to abort their child???

Eh, no sugar for me with just a little milk coffee wink
As I see it somebody is not going to be denied the right to choose and in my opinion the fetus is the only one not even knowing it had any rights at all. Sure if a fetus is aware of the fact that it is so unwanted that its mother wants to kill it, it would choose to rather die.
so rare exceptions can be justified

This statement of yours is very condescending I feel Alterboy, who are you to judge, if your a medical person you are there to help not judge I would have thought.
