Build the wall, might be cheaper than deportation expense and time

Barack Obama Deported A Record Number Of Immigrants From The U.S. More Than Any Other President

During President Barack Obama’s terms, he had a record number of people deported from the United States which was more than any other president. As of 2015, more than 2.5 million undocumented people had been deported by immigration authorities since Obama took office in 2009. This total is record-setting. Take for example, during the two terms of his predecessor, President George W. Bush, removed just over 2 million people. This is interesting news considering controversy surrounding President Donald Trump's policies.

Lj. I'm not realy a news reader. Tell me how this wall will work, and how high it needs to be ?
Lj. What is the distance required of this wall, and it will have to be very high and if it has and electric fence rather, they have still throw something over it to climb over, or build something over it ? How often will it be patrolled ? It will have to be 24/7 ! a Very difficult undertaking, I would say !
Snookums,
I read the chain link fence is relatively low 10' approx. and when you drop over to the other side the landing
area swiftly calculates your weight to immediately catapaults you directly back over a reasonable distance.

They had considered revolving doors that only allow you to exit ,at the entry point- but it'd result in longer lines.
Delete if you wish LJ.
Have a good weekend.kiss
I will be backnowledged guys, thanks.
Hi Phyl,

Even if you deport the illegals, they will find another way to get back in! We need help from the mexican govt.! Not building the wall, but policing it on the mexican side!

What do you think?thumbs up
Mic, Perhaps its time England took America back, its not doing very well right now, word on the street is that all Walmarts and costcos are being fitted out as detention centres, makes prepping seem more viable now...run...run as fast as you can....cheers
Isn't it obvious, Map?! roll eyes

WAL....MART
Wal backwards is 'law'. Mart is short for 'martial'...
MARTIAL LAW!!! wow...hole

YouTube Wal-mart is martial law

Yes. It's really out there! uh oh
Prep while you still can, y'all!

England reclaims it's Murkun colonies...
There are times I can wonder if the Revolution may have been a mistake...& what might have been if Murka had remained part of the British Empire/Commonwealth.

History, however - for good or ill, doesn't reveal it's options. sigh

Mic "There are times I can wonder if the Revolution may have been a mistake...& what might have been if Murka had remained part of the British Empire/Commonwealth"

You would have no guns and very little gun crime
Your Police would be very polite
Restrictions of Supersizing McDonald's meals
Tea and Scones at 3pm
Very expense Gasoline but much smaller cars (V8's are for tractors)
and many more delights!

The wall may work as China built one 1000's of years ago and not a single Mexican has made it through.
Well more bad news from the history department . Almost all the " Great " and " famous " walls and static defences in history have been breached and did not do what was intended .

First off, just to build this thing will be a massive undertaking . It will use as much steel and concrete as Boulder dam ! It will have to be thirty feet or more to not be climbed by simple extension ladders . and even if you put barbed wire over the top of it, a simple pair of bolt cutters ( sold at any hardware store ) will nip out sections of it to pass over .

Even if you don't try and scale it you could just tunnel under it . The only way to stop ( slow ) this is to make the footer something like 30 feet deep also . This would make it harder to tunnel but it would just about triple the cost ! The other thing that most people do not think about is that the ones that are on the list of not to be here are not stupid like you all are . Yes they might be bad guys but they will just go around the stupid thing like the thinking individuals they are . Most will probably come in from Canada . What are you going to do then ? Build a three thousand mile wall and send Canada the bill !

Well you all would most likely be dumb enough to fall for that one also . . . . . rolling on the floor laughing
Wow guys, I'm still at work and I will be back with all the responses.

Hi Un, thanks for being here, you have no idea how happy I am to see you. I mean it.

wave
I think, barbed wire fence be build stead of wall all believe. Cheper and not can be cut. Use in military border

This post or link is specially for Grouchy and Map and Un,

Please watch it and you tell me why building the wall doesn't make sense?

A criminal depirreducible five times?

For real? frustrated
From what I understand is that the USA would build and pay for the wall.
After reading all the very colorful comments on this issue, I still think that the wall is the most effective recourse to solve this problem. Thirty billion and or 50 billion, I am sure with the effect in the future, it serves its purpose very well.

Just like the post of Stringman, there is a better chance of eliminating the multiple entry of the same people that get deported over and over again. Lol they must surely be laughing at us for giving them a free ride to go back only to get back here as soon as they can.

I wouldn't imagine that Mexico will build the wall. I would expect us to foot the bill because it is for our benefit to do so.
Deportations.
Does this include arrivals without the correct visas?
Does it also take into consideration that perhaps there were more entries into the country?
Or maybe there was just more people that needed deporting. Just guessing but I'd think the numbers would grow each year with the world population.
