How come Jesus never sailed across the Atlantic to the Americas

How come Jesus never sailed across the Atlantic to the Americas to tell the Bible stories to the native American indians ? Failure to do this meant that Jesus denied the Old world of the pleasures of chocolate for another 1500 years. If Jesus could calm the storms on the Sea of Galilee then it should have been easy for him to sail across the pond. Instead history shows it wasn't until 1492 that Europeans started to take Bible stories to the New World and exchange food crops. God was in no hurry for gospel to spread. For God so loved the Old World that he also denied them tomatoes, potatoes, sweet corn, vanilla, pumpkin, peppers, chilli, maple syrup etc. Some apologists might try to defend Jesus by saying that he couldn't possibly have known but Luke 4v5 says that that devil showed Jesus all the kingdoms of the world. So did Jesus have his eyes closed in prayer at that point or did he just forget ? In any case God could have shouted down from the sky, " Remember the new world " compare with Matt 3v17. or the disciples could have been shown it in a vision as Act chpt 2 claimed after Joel 2v28 or what about the Holy Spirit leading them into all truth as John 16v13 claims. History shows that even by 500 years later, the authors of the Koran had no vision of the New World. Religion is unable to yield new information about reality. Only after the New world was discovered did Joseph Smith write about it in his 1825 book of Mormon.?cheers
