How is it that our brains can replicate such "perfect" details in our dreams, while our awake brains can only recall certain details? It is not like when we go to sleep we plug ourselves into a cable tv connection....I am simply amazed at how powerful our brains are and we often overlook it.
Such a mystery.

It doesn't leave much for the conscious mind does it?
Thank you for some explanation.
I wonder how it would be if we fell asleep for a length of a year, when awoke, would we be able to adjust to this conscious "real" world?
Thanks again
Then which mind would you prefer-could you incorporate it totally.
Our lives are partly self-inspired,but not entirely so we are interpreters in both.
A shadow, a delirium, a fiction.

Our brains are the most powerful thing Johnny better do not lose it for anything or anyone and we will dream til the end of time
Average use for now is 10 percent.
Logic and control is with our awake mode, in sleep, anything is possible.
But to do what our brain can do in dreams, will take a long time before we can unlock the keys to possibility. Perhaps not in our lifetime but I know it will happen. MhI

Very interesting question...about which life I would prefer. There are certain dreams that I would not want to leave and some...wish I never got in.
I remember one the other night. I had a cat. It was a very luxurious cat to me...I remember, I admired it as if it were a god or something.
The stupid thing just sat there.
I would be interested in hearing more about why you say what you say.
There was a time when I firmly believed our dreams carried messages for us in our waking life. I still do...but some of mine, I couldn't make heads or tails out of them even if I really sat down a gave it a lot of thought.
Maybe there is some sort of tie between dreams and the life we call reality.
I do agree about losing our minds. Sharing your life with a difficult person could make one's mind go off track. .....well, that is what I thought of when I you mentioned not losing our minds. :)
Isn't that really something about how small a portion we use of our brains. I know there have been some movies about the potential of using more of our brains. It makes me wonder what else are we capable of....or, why have we been only allowed to use such a small portion.
Thanks.
Hope your weekend will be lovely as well.
....another thing that makes me wonder...
How we can come into existence from virtually nothing. Okay, I may save that for another blog.
I am still giving it some thought, when I have time to think....
I mean the busy life during the day which clutters your brain. Sometimes I can feel my head is about to burst with so much to remember, whereas at night I lay there and mentally clear myself ready for the next day. So provided that works I then sleep well and dream well. If I'm not successful then it takes me a while to actually get to sleep. It just depends what has happened during that day and how easy it is to switch off
