My dear friend went home

Finally the agonizing times are over.

She smiled and said goodbye and for one last breath, she's with our Lord.

May she rest in peace.

Thanks all for your prayers.

She asked us all (family and friends ) to celebrate. But even that is not easy. I still cried but deep down very happy. Her two years fight is over.

God Bless you Shannon.bouquet

Your strength inspired us all. We love you.

Note : She's 52 years old, smoked for 30 years. Only stopped two years ago but her body was too far gone, health wise.

How brave to be able to except one is loosing their life...
obviously your friends faith must of been far greater than her sadness of letting go of life... saying goodbye to it and to all, must be the hardest thing to do yet she was able to do so with a smile... your friend Ms Jones most of been a woman with such great faith.. sad flower
The time comes when it's a release for the one going home.
But their leaving still leaves an empty place in the hearts of those close to them.

so sorry LJ for your loss of a friend.sad flower
Yes Ms. Witch. Her battle wasn't all hers. We stood very firmly with her whuch, I'm sure made her very strong. In the end her strength was more evident than any of us.

And inspiring spirit to behold.

Thanks again. Yes her smile was a confirmation if her steadfast ground that her faith and hope were with her till the very last breath.
Thanks Mic

always sad to loose a close friend sad flower
Yes Red, specially when they're young. Her mom, 80 years old, is the hardest hit with sadness. But eventually through my friend's assurance, she accepted that she's in a better hands now after her painful two years battle.

Thanks.
Lindsy, I know what it is to lose a friend.

It is never easy.

Just know that your paths will cross again.

Until then, look for her in the eyes of a new
born baby, or perhaps in the here after.

There is a plan. We just don't always see it.

Sup
Thank you so much Sup.

That means a lot to me.
Grieving turned celebration is one great experience. Instead of being so sad, the living gather together and make relationship clutched with so much love and care. This simply reinforces that no one is an island. That we all want to live together and share our joys, our battles and happiness. Sadness must not be with us forever, but we do need to be sad for the loss albeit temporary. She wanted us all to remember her with a smile and she was so thankful that we were there on her last journey.

Thanks all for your prayers.
Its A Sad Time For You... Im Sure... Miss Lindsy
As It Was For Me...With Linda

They Are In A Better Place Now
That Maybe One Day..We Will Discover Ourselves

I Watched Linda(My Adopted Sister..Who Made Me Her Brother She Never Had)
Slowly Succumb To The Eventuality That Was To Come
I Was With her 4 Hours before She Passed
I Was Talking To Someone Who Couldnt Talk Anymore
I Couldnt Tell If Her Eyes Were Open..But The Nurse Said..."Shes Awake" To Me

I Held Lindas Hand... And Talked To Her... As If She Was Talking Back To Me
And When I Had to Leave... I Told Linda
"I Have To Go Now Linda..Ill See You Tomorrow"
And I Kissed Her On Her Forehead..As I Always Did

Got The Call Four Hours Later That Linda Had Passed On

Yes I Was Sad...But More Importantly...I Was Relieved That It Was Finally Over
It Was Painful... To Keep Seeing Her In The State She Was In

Be Happy For Shannon Miss Lindsy
Thats How She'd Want You To Be
And Im Sure..If She Could Tell You..She'd Tell You To

Thanks so much my dear Nam.

How true to every word you've expressed.

We all go when it's our time, and hers was done in a fashion, she was so grateful for everything that took place.
Thanks again.
