Volunteering.....Philanthropy.....Random Acts of Kindness......

some of us do it, others don't. No shortage of opportunities, here and abroad, and in our own back yards. And Lord knows, there is a real need for such. But it often helps, if we really are honesst with ourselves, too do a thorough and selfless honest moral inventory search of our MOTIVES in all we do, especially when we find ourselves in that goody two shoes----holier than thou, state of mind. Mine sometimes could use improving. Aa.

I agree. But don't you think that they sometimes can change. I've seen it often. Sometimes it's a real bottom in life, or a spiritual epiphany, perhaps the right words from a confidant or fsmily member, war, losses, etc. Aa.

There is an old saying, "a leopard never changes it's spots." As humans we have the ability to change but it must be a personal conviction.wink

I try to do as many random acts of kindness as I can and some voluntary work and I certainly find it very rewarding if it's only a smile on somebody's face. smitten
