Scotty

Thank you...I was too lazy to research...the sun outside had taken a toll on me
Good luck Scotty. I'm happy for you.

cheering
Wait is your currency still going to be much higher than our dollars?

But not as bad as before the Euro, I hope.
Candy sure is,..................banana
Map, I will have to look into that,............................
How are you feeling Scott?
Sorry, Scotty, that's the headline from Spectator yesterday.
Scotty

Don't you think the EU will sabotage members that leave the union. Think about trade, travel and the health fraternity, it seems like an ideal idea at the time but we all know that individuals are more affected on a larger scale than the government itself...

I am not sure how yours work but I would think it's the same here as it relates to Caricom
Feeling much better thanks,...................... :)
Scotty, Private medical insurance is the answer, its expensive though with pre-existing problems , or you would have to pay into the Spanish Social, that will get you the medical you may need, or keep an address and NHS registration in the UK when you leave for Spain. just fly back if needed...sorted.

I just need the pound to go up in value, its pitiful now, makes a difference in thousands of Euro's.
Dan, I don't care about the Scottish or the Welsh, don't want to lose NI though,........................... :)
But by the way it was groomed for the last several months, it's a victory for the May administration. She quoted primarily, to Brexit means she can implement strict control of the immigration.

What's your opinion on this? If I may ask. hug
I understand that Map, trust me, in the next twelve months the pound will be booming, part of my job,.cheers
LJ etc, That will never happen, even if France or any other large contributor to the EU leaves there will still be an EU, Far too many rumour mongering news stories around, but many countries are now investing in the UK, the trade agreements will remain as EU countries get a lot of business with the UK.

Although the immigrant crisis is seriously affecting many smaller EU countries Ms Merkel who is the one who started it all has reined in Germany's quotas as even Germany is struggling to cope.professor
Lindsy, it's great, we have been too much of a soft touch with immigrants coming here, never paid into the system, getting a home, benefits, free health care, our own people have been waiting years for a home and lose out, time to put our own first,.....................head banger
Map is right, rumour mongering,........................head banger
Hey Scotty wine here's to better things....
I wouldn't count it per se, it can't be felt by many and dismiss it as rumor. But the truth shines no matter how hidden it might be.
Meantime, I'm sure there's few who opposes this move but the reality is, it prevailed as most expected.

I'm happy for you Scotty and so are those that approved of it.
well that is good news for Parliament, who had 'DA FUNK.dancing
As they say, as one door closes, others open.

To me, that means that there will be opportunities.

There is potential in everything.

One must only seek out the positives.

Ash sure is,................banana
David, most definitely, once we start bringing trade back here, sooner the better,..............head banger
Pro, they will probably try, but Belgium doesn't give us much, so no love lost,..................banana
Lindsy, I'm chuffed, at last it is signed, sealed and delivered, waited such a long time for this moment and glad that Trump agrees with it too,.......... :)
Rough, oh yes, for sure,......................wine
Scotty Van...you are absolutely about the immigrants
They get credit cards n mortgages for homes n they set up for life n food etc

The exact same " lifestyles " are given to them as the same as here in Canada

Geezus some people can't even eat half the time n they give these things to immigrants n they start their businesses n end up with more money then some unfortunate people across the country
1_spctr, so, so true and bloody outrageous, they are not our problem, let their own country sort them out!

Charity begins at home,..................... :) wine
I also blame employers in my country because they hire these people on such a low wage, hence making them more profit and more jobs our own people miss out on and couldn't afford to work for such a low wage, these immigrants get a house and then cram it full of their own keeping costs down, private landlords need to get a grip and put a stop to this too, for those immigrants that don't get given a home, our benefit system will pay their rent to private landlords,............................wine
Spec that's what we're having here, too.

What gets me is the fact that we gave 4.13 billion and still here they are and like you said, we have many citizens living in poverty.
Lindsy, what percentage of your wage goes on tax,..............?

Here it's about 25%,...................................And then there's National Insurance on top of that which depends on the amount you earn, and if we are working we pay for our medication, but if on benefits its free!
David, I couldn't agree more,................cheers
Very well said viking!hug
well all the eu has done good here mostly ...id have no notion to leave has done good here and the people who we call imigrants work hard and pay their taxes and their a big part of our country it would be sad if Ireland went back the way it was nothing only poverty to look forward to
JJ, what exactly has the EU done for Ireland?
well I don't know about in England but the scroungers are not the immigrants here I knows lots and they all work hard ....think at the end of the day theres not as many as we think people getting benefits are entitled to ..could be any of us any day ...so for me I give most people the benefit of the doubt ..
