The Reason Behind North Korea's Missile 'Failures'
UPDATE, MARCH 8, '18 -Trump to meet with 'Rocket Man'...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
YouTube Boeing YAL-1 Airborne Laser Testbed - Jaglavak Military
This was first flown in '02.
It's since been retired, & ultimately scrapped a few years ago.
That's the official story.
Could the recent series of North Korean missile 'failures' actually be evidence that this technology has been developed, perfected...and deployed?
NOTE - The Airborne Laser engages/destroys it's targets in the boost phase.
And that the portion of their flight during which recent N. Korean missile tests routinely...fail.
Coincidence?
who knows MIC they could have stuff we don't know about.
Dr. Strangelove.
What I think is, they intentionally show they're failing for us to underestimate their capability.
I doubt one bit about their inferior military power Mic.
The missiles they've been testing are hardly 'state of the art'...
single stage liquid fueled rockets. Essentially WWII (German V-2), 1st generation missile technology.
BUT...Do they have something more advanced?
If the U.S. (and others) don't tip their hand about what they have, why should we assume the N. Koreans would?
Some years ago, a missile test was announced. It may have been N. Korea.
Rush Limbaugh raked Obama for not using a U.S. defense missile to down it.
UTTER STUPIDITY!
Every nation that had the capability, would be monitoring the announced test with reconnaissance satellites & other technologies.
Had the U.S. used one of its defensive missiles, all those monitoring the test would've gained instant knowledge of the U.S. missile's capability.
It would've been easier to simply publish that info on the 'net.
AND...the U.S. would've saved a missile!
Unless Limbaugh's an idiot, he knew this. Also that the military would've nixed the notion...even if Obama was stupid enough to suggest it.
But...It was an opportunity for Limbaugh to rake Obama.
He wasn't gonna pass that up. And his ditto-head audience likely bought it.
I know at least one did.
He brought it up to me to point out Obama was a wuss.
I took the opportunity to 'splain things to the ditto-head.
A teachable moment, as it were.
The N. Korean missiles fail simplhy because we hired a Romanian Gypsy woman to place a hex spell on them. She charges only $50 per missile so given her success rate it is a worthwhile investment.
