What Is It About Men Eh?!
Having a hilarious night here...I finally agreed to meet someone...he would have been the very first one!
We agreed to go dancing and a little drinking tonight
Went to my day time work, hurried back home late afternoon, shaved, did my nails and waited for the big moment while we were exchanging messages.
He said to take my time and enjoy dinner with my son and friends coz the fun won't be till late and just text him when I'm ready so I assumed we will go late.
I attended a Bible study with my friends, I told him I'll be offline for an hour but the Bible study finished a bit late then texted him that I'm ready and prefer to meet him in a roundabout near me...I mentioned a donut shop. He asked if we're going to have donuts, I said I won't mind if he fancy some eclair and they sell coffee too( I was joking! He got pissed off, he said he want to drink and dance so I said OK, I simply suggested we meet in the donut shop because I've never been to this place he's planning to take me, from this roundabout we can go to this disco place. He said, he didn't know the place and he's taking taxi and would feel like an idiot walking around looking for me He said wanted us to take a taxi coz he wanted to drink so I said I will drive when he's intoxicated, he said he wanted us both to drink.
He lashed out at me for being late and being dishonest about the Bible study, we started arguing...and we haven't even met yet ffs! so I told him to get some sleep and called the whole thing off.
Took off my clothes, grabbed my laptop and posted a blog..boy, feels good be here
Goodnight, Shawn!

he's supposed to impress me first not to control me right away!
luckily, we haven't met yet
Never, hopefully
I'd call his mam to collect him and pull him by his ears
That man was very very nice when we chatted last night, that's why I was very confident to meet him. we started chatting only 2 days ago and I agreed to meet him right away...I used to make a u-turn whenever I'm on my way to a meet up...with this man, I thought " This is it!"
when he throw a fit earlier I was stupified! He was acting like my husband already
He had ni idea what kind of fruitloop he was dealing with
I wouldn't exactly call a 47 years old a "big boy throwing tantrums"
I guess he's used to getting his way...he's quite good looking...
I prefer to have a good sense of them beforehand
the other sins might follow ;-)
He wanted to meet right away...the day he sent me his first message, I replied then he asked to meet on weekend and said, we could even meet that night if I'm up to it. I'm working at night so I turned him down. He was really nice, promised to cook some yummy dinner for me.
He accused me of being dishonest because I told him the Bible study will take about an hour but he waited for 2 hours...what a patient man! And I was trying to explain and placate him ...he just kept on and on so I told him to get some sleep. We wasted an hour arguing...as if we were a couple
However...I would have omitted the first line "he would have been the very first one" in order to bring some intrigue and suspense to the story.
Putting that line at the beginning means that it wasn't successful ..
Anyway...better luck next time
I said no to the first place he suggested because it's beside my ex- hubby's shops, he hangs out there .
He asked why I didn't want to go to that area so I told him I prefer not to bump into my ex- and he got irritated, he said he wants to go wherever he wants to go and if we bump into my ex- I should just say " Hi, This is Shawn"
The guy is not flexible! He is not right for you! You are a nice looking lady! You will find someone!
thanks!
I'm glad I didn't miss the Bible study and took off with him earlier...
would you like to join the club? which one?

I am doing great.
Good, stay the way you are and don't change. Your great sense of humor is what attracted you to me in the first place.
I tired to change myself many times, I thought get more serious and be a better person...but it's simply not possible
I warned him, not to take everything I say seriously , he failed to follow my advise so it's his loss
I would never agree to go out for drink with a guy I hadn't ever met or got to know.
Since he refused to meet at the doughnut shop I'd just write him off as a bad debt.
you could be both
You have a lot to offer! Be patient and the right guy will come along when you least expect it!
I'll wear the crown
We first agreed to have a dinner date, I said no to the restaurant he wanted to go because I know my ex- hang out there, he got annoyed...then we started talking about music then the word disco came up so we decided to go disco, he said he want to have a little drink, I told him I don't drink much, he said just a little bit to relax and have some fun dancing...I told him I'll be sitting and watching him on dance floorr, he promised to teach me to dance so I said yes
When we were arguing, he told me he wanted us to take a taxi because he wanted us BOTH to drink, I took it as a red flag, I'm glad he throw a fit for making him wait another hour...I know now that I'll be in trouble if I went out drinking with him
lesson learned
he was so nice, I'm just glad he showed his true color right away
Better for both involved
The previous guy I agreed to meet waited in Starbucks till midnight, I didn't show up, I went to have coffee at Mc Do
I would never stand somebody up.
Just cancel in advance if you're not going to turn up
There's no such thing as "secrets " here in bloglands
I admit that was very bad of me...I couldn't do it, I was on my way, changed my mind at the last few minutes. Funny, the donut shop I told him to meet me is right beside that Mc Do
Remember you are in control of this situation
Take care
You definitely dodged a bullet there crazy...
Thanks and good to see you here on the blogs, looking forward to reading your blogs
Yeah, I was very much in control, I was laughing at his exasperation
Yes
