Shock appeal vs manners...

As I child we were told what was not to be talked about ...

Things that were too personal or just bad manners to voice in public...

Now people seem to write blogs just for shock appeal

Google and the Oxford dictionary tell us that

Taboo :

Is a social or religious custom prohibiting or restricting a particular practice or forbidding association with a particular person, place, or thing.

So what subjects would you not be comfortable seeing discussed in the blogs and forums

Not enough social interaction...this place needs something, bcoz can even hook up in this place, n if they did idk how they did it. A few Blogs ago, I suggested Chat Rooms, but I didn't bring this idea to Admin. There is very little humour in the Blogs, n myself, I like to have a good laugh sometimes. All the things we don't see in these Blogs, maybe those missing pieces will more then likely be in Chat Rooms.

cheers
Speaking to some of the old timers and lifers here chat rooms were removed from the site years ago.
And you know the mods never answer your prayers

'-)
Maybe the need a ' suggestion Box ' lol or maybe checking out the ' Contact Us ' section lol. laugh
Pretty much anything goes....dunno the mods would deal with it if they felt it "crossed the line"

It's up to us to choose whether we want to participate in a blog or not.

The only thing is I don't like to see the blogs/forums being flooded with religion/politics.
Profanity upsets me. It really is a reflection on the blogger themselves . It tends to come from a lack of education and is an outright expression of what's going on inside. ~ Outright aggressiveness, and

people who are more concerned with the Blogger than the Blog.

Manners is not putting up a blog that will deliberately get the wrong kind of attention and upset the majority.
Religion and Politics is interesting to many, particularly politics.

People who don't reply to those who go to the trouble of replying to their blog. I guess that's a baddie, but time differences are diverse on here. As is age, creed, class, education, and that's what makes it interesting ~ at times.
