Little things in life that render us amazed.....

and totally grateful. While tending to my manly toilet in the downstairs bathroom, the window of which looks onto a healthy apple tree, ceteris parabus, I noticed what looked like snow on the grass. Lots of it. Here near the ocean in Maine, we can have a dusting as late as mid May, but rarely any later. And this stuff seemed whiter than usual. Double take, especially since the veggie garden is already planted. A little reflection proved that it was merely this lovely tree shedding her blossom petals. Sure sign of plentiful yummy pies and applesauces in a few months. Did I say "little" things in life? Huge! Aa.

Glorious profusion of petals... an unexpected sight fromthe downstairs loo. So the Apples are on their way, does anything taste better than home grown apples and fruits/Veg. Home made Apple pie and Ice cream?

Aa, yes indeed, those little things like having good apple pie are wonderful.

It's farmer's market season and we, in California are big on these things. Yummy time for organic vegetables and fruits A..

Blackberry and apple pie daydream I love that brambleberries and apples are ready at roughly the same time.

We had our cherry blossom 'snow' a couple of weeks ago, both sides of the street are lined with wild cherry trees and it was a near blizzard laugh
