1)When One Goes To A Cemetery...What Does One Do There?....And Why Does One Go To A Cemetery?.....Well...To Start Off With.... One Goes There Because.... One Does Not Want To Forget Someone..(Is This Wrong To Be Doing?)...........................What Other Reason Would There Be?

2)And Most Of The Time People Will Bring With Them... Flowers...Or Maybe Little Statues...To Leave There..(As A Way Of Saying... "I Havnt Forgotten You"...And "Ill Always Love You"
"Or... To Leave Something That Was From Them.... Probably At The Foundation Of The Monument... Or Head Stone ..........(Is This Wrong To Be Doing?)

3)And Lets Not Forget ...That We Have Monuments Erected To The Deceased...With Their Names...Date Of Birth.....Date Of Death...(Some... Even Have A Picture Of The Deceased On The Monument....And Why Are All These Things Done?...................So People.... Who Havnt Been There Before.... Can Find The Ones That Have Passed On That They Were Lookin For ....So They Can Stand There... And Remember Fond And Wonderful Memories Of That Person
(Is This Wrong To Be Doing?)

4)And What Do People Do Sometimes When They Are At A Gathering Somewhere..Or At Home?
Might It Be... That ...They May Start To Talk About Someone Who Is Deceased....And Then Others Might Join In With Their Recolle tions.......(Is This Wrong To Be Doing?)

5)And A Lot Of People ...If Not ...Most........Will Sometimes.... Pull The Weeds Up..... And Make Sure That The Grave Site Is Neat And Tidy Before They Leave

If You Can
Please Answer All Five Of These If you Can................................................................................................. With Your Reasons.... If You Think..... That Any Of These..... Are Wrong To Be Doing

Nam, I wished I could answer all q's here, but I cannot. I dont go to cemetery's, I prefer to remember them in my heart. Even when those have passed, I still cant bring myself to go. I dont want to remember them that way. Some may see that as disrespectful, but so be it. Some prefer to grieve in their own ways.I guess all of this is what some would call the 'grieving process'.
But I suppose others feel some kind of comfort in doing all these things you listed. Only funeral I did go too, was my Mom's when I was 10yrs old, that was enough to deter me from sentiments like that..Sorrysad flower wave
i don't think any are the wrong reasons. it is good to remember that person with respect. I don't go to the cemetery myself. I guess I know they are really not there or they do not hear you,but it is nice to show you have not forgotten them.
Hello Nam,wave I go to cemeteries to set flowers out, and to recollect memories, and stories of deceased loved ones. And I also talk about, and tell fond stories of deceased loved ones. They may be gone , but I figure someone has to keep memories, and stories about them alive.

Back Again, Nam, now that we re talking about the deceased, I really enjoy telling my Grandfathers, Great Grand children ,what a great guy he was. He had no education, couldn t read or write, but he was a good carpenter, able to fix autos, tvs , and radios.... I thought was quite amazing. At least those great grand children are going to know what an amazing fellow he was.

I envy you being able to go, Nam. My father's ashes were scattered at sea and although my mother's ashes were in a Garden of Remembrance, vandals broke in soon afterwards and thought it hilarious to lever off all the plaques, get out all the urns, and smash them for fun. That was in another country anyway so I never did get to see the Garden before it was destroyed.

And as to your questions - no, of course it isn't wrong. No-one is truly dead until they are forgotten.
...there are living people whos more dead to me then dead friends who will alwayes walk beside me....cool wine

I think it is no ones business how to grieve. For one who loses a lived one has to deal with the pain in your own way.
