Organ donor's right to choose
As everyone has the right to choose to be a donorWhat is your opinion of the donors right to choose who gets the donated organ
Would you want your lungs to be given to a chain smoker or your liver to an alcoholic
After all if you have chosen to treat your body with respect and your organs are healthy enough to be considered suitable ...
Should you not have some say in the use of them

But of course it would be nice to be able to choose.
Now when you're still alive people usually do it to help a relative.
an interesting one too...in a daft round about way we get to play God.
My opinion is a donor should NOT have the right.
Free what organ do you want and how much you willing to pay
.
thought you were better than that.
Good thing you're not God.
Then the point and your opinion of me is a mute point
My opinion expressed on this blog is exactly that....
Organ donations go in a list, next in line is a 76 year old woman, accident happens a 22 year old woman/mothers life could be saved if she were given the donation instead.. for all the right reasons and to me what makes perfect sense, you donate to the younger woman.. but if the 76 year old woman were my mother all sense would go out the window because personal matters more even if and when wrong.
so again i say NO.. the call should not be ours.
Hey, Gypsy, do you think CS is uber morbid these days?
I would love to have your talent, Free. In which organ does that redide?
Cold ethyl
I personally would prefer to donate for a child, but it depends on some other suitable factors of the particular organ and the receiver. Whomever. It is as well a professional secret. What is good is a pity to be buried or cremated.
