Why I want someone Christian

It is difficult for people to understand why I want a Christian for a lifetime for myself.

These are the things a Christian can never do:
1)He will not get drunk, beat his wife and children or abandon them for anything in the world.
2)He will not wrong another human being, nor make schemes to deliberately harm them.
3) He will not go against the Will of God.
4) He will not deny anyone the right to live, laugh and be truly human.

These are the things a Christian would do:
1) Take his responsibilities and manners seriously.
2) Hold a hand and would not let it go because his answer is not to this world and its powers but to the supreme power of God.
3) Live and let live on the principles of peace, love and solidarity.
4) Fight like a spiritual warrior and work like a labourer with his hands and stand up for the weak and pay attention to his praying schedule and the voice of the Heavenly Father.

I am strictly looking for a Christian person. It is not possible to give a detailed answer to anyone in person but here it would be much easier for you all unconcerned individuals to read and understand.

Thanks,

God bless you and good luck for your partner search,

No bias against anyone but this is what I prefer.

I am a born again Christian! And very proud to call Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior! He has been very good to me! He has performed many miracles in my life!

From history we know that so called christians have done many things in the name of their church or religion! God is the sole judge of those people!

Happy to see some real Christians step forward!thumbs up

Many people wear the hat of Christian, yet would do many of the things you want to protect yourself from.

Just saying you are a Christian and marrying a Christian is no guarantee of love and fidelity.

However, if the person walks the walk more than they talk the talk, you may have a diamond there.

Walk gently among the wolves.

There are true followers of Christianity.

But most of the time it is just sheeps clothing.

Ms crazyheart, "Oh no, from my observation here on blogs, it's only the Muslim men who treat women badly,, only those who worship Allah treat other human beings badly, the rest can do no wrong"

I guess your referring to this piece in the Quran: Quran

Quran (4:34) - "Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great." Contemporary translations sometimes water down the word 'beat', but it is the same one used in verse 8:12 and clearly means 'to strike'.

Quran (38:44) - "And take in your hand a green branch and beat her with it, and do not break your oath..." Allah telling Job to beat his wife (Tafsir)

Now, if we can use Jesus Christ as the starting point could you show me where in the bible it states as acceptable the beating of a wife. One religion (islam) expects the man to beat his wife and the other (Christianity) teaches you to love your wife,

Your acting schizophrenic, one moment your supporting Christianity, and the next moment your supporting islam. I think you need some conviction here and put a stake in the ground of what religion you believe and support.

As I can see the weird stuff some Christians can make up.
In Christianity there so many splinter groups all proclaiming their truth.
Some are very good people ,some are bad.
But the stuff they make up.
People flying into the sky and such.
Muslims also have some weird stories but I don't hear them chatting about the ongoing war between devils and angels on this planet today.

There are really Christians believing their are monsters under their bed and aliens on the moon.

The flying spaghetti monster didn't come from nowhere .

I have seen my mum and dad live as True Christians. They don't get drunk, don't beat children and never went to anyone other than each other for their human needs.

Hats off to you all for you all know nothing about Christianity.

For those friends who thought I was overcome by emotions and went to get in touch with Sea, I am sorry to have disappointed you.

For me, Jesus is the only way, I am a born again Christian and know what that means. Therefore, I cannot compromise on my life and companion for life.
Jiyagill
AngelPepper,

Guess what I will find a Christian man who will provide me care and love in the name above all names, Jesus.

Wish me luck!

Jiyagill,

Absolutely respect your view and belief and admire your conviction.

Some of the comments on your blog have been supportive and I hope you can acknowledge that not everyone on this blog has no idea at all about christianity.

Also some of the comments were tinged with a bit of humour and not meant to be taken seriously. So I hope you also have a sense of humour and can appreciate that.

Good luck in your search for your ideal man. applause

RobbyReal,

Can I suggest you something? When we go on the streets and see children playing in the puddles, we don't do it. When we see evidence of some nymphomaniacs committing adultery with every other woman, we don't imitate them. When some people are always walking dirty mouthed and dirty haired on the streets, you don't accept them as the only symbol of human race.

They why, due to some hypocrites who claimed to be Christians but were not and in bondage of sin and satan, did you come to conclusion that Christians were bad people.

May be you should try looking out again... only a true Christian can make you realize what a wonderful man and creation of God you are!

God bless you!
robbyreal
Yeah well thanks Jiyagill,

Where do you get the idea that I think Christians are bad people?
I never said that! And I certainly don't think that.

What I think about Christians is the same as I think about all other people....some good, some bad, some ok.

Oh, and I also feel that the other 4199 religions that believe in God are the same and equal with Christians.

Having things in common, similar values and goals, is important for a relationship to work.

I can understand that you want certain characteristics - characteristics are character traits depending on the moral values of people. Cultural background is also important and there is a different cultural background depending religion/area etc.

Someone either is a good person or not - not every Christian is a good person unfortunately.

Behave and treat a guy how you want to be treated and stick to what is important to you, and there is a good chance that you find what you are looking for.

Here in Australia, they just released the results of a survey, the most likely partner to commit domestic violence... Is an evangelical Christian that does not attend church services regularly. The same study found those that went to church often were much less likely to commit domestic violence.

However, the highest ranking Australian catholic- George Pells, is facing child s*xual assault charges with the Victorian police. And the royal commission into institutional s*xual abuse of children, has found s*xual abuse in pretty much every institution they looked at...

I dont think it's as simple as you may choose to see it... Trust your neighbours, but brand your calves...
Jiyagill, you made Christians so appeal to me ...nahhhh you take the Christians, I´ll keep one weirdo...just one applause

Hats off to you all for you all know nothing about Christianity.

Wow. Judgemental, much?

You know next to nothing about the people who posted here. You cannot read their soul or their heart. That is why God alone is judge.

No matter if they were right or wrong in their belief, they were trying to help you, as they saw where you might be hurt.

Just what in my post makes you believe I know nothing about Christianity. I have been a Christian for most of my life and took it quite seriously. Still do.

I was being honest with you, having the same wishes as you had when I was younger. Life has taught me a few things...and I tried to express it in my post. Additionally, the same caveats were expressed by another respondent and it is supported by scripture.

I am glad you had such loving parents, and hope with all my heart you have the same with your future husband. I personally believe that you can, though no easy task in the world today.

Of the "Christian" monsters we've indicated here, and will continue to indicate, how many are True Christians?
Len05
they are all true christians. because a true christian is a non definable item.

At this point most people told me Jesus was not a virgin, but also never got married. I see some debate arising here.

So it all kinda fits my theory that 'your' 'god' has the same morals as you have.
And instead of saying the ubercreature gave these ideas to you to follow, i would say. you felt these ideas as normal and therefore you consider them as bigger than your views.

My quick pointer is the gay debate. if you are against gays, it probably means your god follows your views. and if you are pro-gays, your god probably follows your views. you can also exchange that for war or murder or whatever, maybe even some weird love.

This makes life hard. because you give your set of morals a name.
and some other guy or girl gives the same name to their set of morals.
Hence the meaning of true can be a reason for war and conflict.

It is like setting the standard of high, cold, fat. it is in the eye of the beholder

and man created god.
