When You Put Certain People Into Solitary Confinement..For Whatever Reason..You Are Not Helping Him/Her............And I Understand That Some People Must Be Segregated From The Rest Of The Population.............................
What Is Solitary Confinement?
Well...For 23 Hours A Day..The Person In Question...Is Locked Away
He/She... Is Allowed Outside In Another Longer Type Cell For 1 Hour
After That..Its Back Once More For Another 23 Hours By Him/Her Self
They Claim That Theres Nothing Else They Can Do With These People
So What Happens With These People In Solitary Confinement...With No TV To Watch...Nothing To Read
And Nothing To Do?....They Begin To Lose It..(Their Minds)
They Do Whatever They Can To Lash Back At The System They Are In
Theyll Bang Their Heads Against The Walls,,,Punch The Doors
They End Up Cutting Themselves Up...Hoping That They Could Die
Or Theyll Flood Their Cells With Water..Feces....And Urine.....Which In Turn..Floods The Whole Floor Theyre On
And When These Numerous Episodes Are Over?
The Inmates Are Written Up..(Tried).... For What Theyve Done
And Whats Their Punishment?
More Time Added On In Solitary.... To A Problem That Caaan Only Get Worse
Theres Got To Be Another Way..To Deal With Problems Like This
The Current Methods Of Enforcement... Dont Seem To Be Working
