Where would you like to live?

If you are given 3 options: USA, Canada, Australia, which country would you like to live? and Why?

If it is not one of the three that you want to live in, then where and why please?

Thank you

Nahhh, thanks , Im fine here where I am
Tho I wouldn`t mind checking out Belarus ,Russia, Ukraine ...
Australia, I hate moving.
@Ded Thanks
@Pat what do you like about your country please?
What do I like about it? Its my home. I can go anywhere. Its very safe and politically stable. Its a beautiful landscape, there are so many lovely places. There is a lot of empty spaces, where there are little or no people.
Last strike !!! applause applause applause

I love Malaysia but I'd gladly relocate to be where Art is smitten and that is the USA.

Oh and Art doesn't mind spending a couple of months in Malaysia as long as he's not forced into eating them chicken feet, fish heads or sea cucumber! grin

Hope you're doing well, LS hug bouquet
Lasty,
Well from those three, I would choose Australia.

Why? Because I lived there for 7 years and I loved it! 6 years in Sydney, 1 year in Melbourne. But I travelled all over Australia with my job, so I know Pat's state well.......been all over Queensland.
Great lifestyle, attitude, climate and multicultural too. I used to work with a lovely Vietnamese young lady.....smitten

Why not Canada or USA? Well the might be even better, but I've never visited Canada and only really passed through the USA.

But why just those three countries? Closer to Vietnam I guess.
Spain and anywhere around the Mediterranean is fantastic too.
South America and many more. Don't forget New Zealand either. You could meet Old Blue! rolling on the floor laughing
@ MimiArt dance I m glad to see pic of you two together. you look gorgeous as a couple ;) me too. I would love to stay wherever my man is but i don't know where he is now so i m open to these options

@Robby: i was thinking of Europe but my friends say there is much discrimination there so i just rest on these 3. But if accidentally i crush into a European guy maybe my way will deviate lol
Thanks Killeen. What part of eastern Canada is good please?
The moon i would like to start all over again on the moon---money not allowed, and past mistakes not forgotten, a brewery, and gardening for herbs etc beer
I wouldn't choose any of those options laugh

But if I did have to, it would be Australia.

Canada would come 2nd as it's beautiful, with chilled people, but too cold in winter.

I live where I chose to live, I have travelled many places, and Ireland is still the most beautiful, friendliest and safest of all of them.

Spain would be my 2nd option as the weather is good there and I've lots of friends living there.
I would choose Canada cause most of my mother's ancestry had been born and raised in Canada.
Hi LS,

I have traveled many countries in Europe and SE Asia! Also have been to Canada and Mexico!

I wouldn't trade any of them for the USA for any other country!thumbs up
I would choose to live in Vietnam...great times there...but not in the super hot months...or Panama...traveling around the globe...lots of adventures to be had...wine
I would love to go south, the Mediterranean. Because of the weather, delicious food and the way of life.
Where nobody knows my name.
i have moved a lot and like where i landed. i wouldn't mind traveling to places for extended periods, such as Spain, Greece, Turkey, back to Ireland, maybe Australia and Thailand. if i have money, i don't mind getting lost.
Thank you all for sharing. regarding social benefits, job opportunities, culture acceptance, which country is better in each aspect please?
Laststrike, what a native experiences and what a visitor experiences are totally different, so that is impossible to answer.

Cultural differences range hugely. For example, I may move to Australia and struggle a bit with the language...yeah, it is English but their particular variety of English laugh , but I would probably it in easily.

But somebody coming from a different culture, colour, language, societal values, etc., may have a much different experience
Molly, yes you are right when we look in depth into individual cases but I am asking for opinions at general scale. Like some of my friends say that there is much race discrimination in Europe while it is more dynamic and acceptance in US and health care in Canada is better than US, etc.
Tristan da Cunha.
I love Paris and have no plans to move to anywhere else. France has everything that i want to see somewhere else.
Canada may be considered if ever I will think of moving and because it's more quiet than those others mentioned.
Well, Australia is out.....Pat would have a wee tanty if I dare drop in there.... uh oh tongue

Canadathumbs up ....though not sure if I could cope with the weather extemes.

Pretty happy with where I am. Only downside, we're a bit far off the beaten track globally.
Last, I guess there are pros and cons everywhere.

'Europe' is not an entity like Canada or the US is. It is made up of lots of different countries, cultures and languages, so it is impossible to lump it into one unit.

France is a very multicultural society and has great healthcare and benefits.

Spain has good healthcare but I am not sure how welcoming to non-natives it is as it has high unemployment

Ireland isn't as multicultural, but people are generally accepting and friendly to newcomers. There is a low unemployment rate (around 6% i believe) and jobs available to suitably qualified people. Housing is an issue here at the moment, as building stopped during the recession, and now is struggling to catch up with need. Another couple of years will probably sort that out though.

UK is in a transition at the moment, neither in nor out of the EU, so a bit of a mess laugh
Non, do you want to be islander No. 263? laugh
I'm in the process of moving to Spain so I can't really focus on the question. laugh

As to why Spain, just worked out that way. I was talking about it in my books before I ever visited, as it happens, or even had any intention of visiting. Things just came together. They could also fall apart. dunno I go where the wind blows me, if it blows hard enough.
Molly If I go there I want to be Islander #1.
I have a scooby doo type plan to drive everyone else away wink
Thanks Molly for detailed informative comment :)
Biff, it's our fault you visited blues laugh

Non, you would definitely be the alpha-male there...new bloodline uh oh

Last, you are welcome thumbs up
Mic, I'll be right here when you come over cool

With a double-barrelled shotgun to keep out the great unwashed grin
Right you are, Molly cheers
The Great Unwashed are a real pain. I get that.

But a double barrel shotgun? laugh
Seriously?! roll eyes

Get yourself a pump action with an extended magazine thumbs up
lightbulb
Better still, a detachable drum magazine after market upgrade head banger

Remember, when one is dealing with the Great Unwashed there's no such thing as too much firepower, you betcha scold

PEACE - THROUGH SUPERIOR FIREPOWER peace

A duck bill shot spreader is a nice touch.
You'll neutralize several Great Unwashed with each round.
Efficient grin And economical, too batting

BTW -
You'll want to load up on that new Flite-Control Buckshot.
The stuff's a game changer.
Doubles your effective range wow At least!......smitten
Can't beat it for keeping the Great Unwashed outside your defensive perimeter
talk to hand

cowboy
I feel sorry for anyone who does not live in Australia. Its as simple as that.
Mic, you are aware I wouldn't know a shotgun from a revolver, right? uh oh laugh
