Biff moving out of the van
*****breaking news *************read all about it! ******
My offer has been accepted, the deposit has been paid, and soon, hopefully really very soon, I shall be quitting the van and moving into a house with no furniture, plaster falling off the walls, at least one sagging ceiling, and a loo / shower the size of a telephone box (quite a lot bigger than the camper one, in other words)
Guess this is a bit late to be having second thoughts and panic attacks.

Shall I bring out the champagne?? Or is it too early?
Or will we have to read about that in some future romance novel.
They have both been absolutely brilliant, plus Z took his life in his hands over and over again as passenger / navigator and is therefore main pin-up #1 on CS for sheer courage
Bravo Zman
Let the adventure begin!
Photos please.
Now the real work begins
Glad to see such a positive attitude on the CS community.

A round of applause for the helpers..
A good day for the CS community after a very long time.
Now do you want me to "deliver" a handyman or two to get things fixed?
Plus of course in Africa I swathed myself in floaty gauzy veils and was rarely without a hat. Where on earth do you think my passion for hats came from?
Biffy, I'm right, no more than 20 mins sun a day for 3 months and you will see the change, or if you are in a hurry dont wash, the natural dusty tones are similar to a good tan.
becoming a van-dweller was only ever an interim measure, I have now clocked up 5 weeks and that's about enough, I think
well you're brave or maybe this one ?
to travel all over USA. like this.
don't be afraid I wasn't inviting you to ride with me
Do you want me to pick anything up for you Biff just enough to fill a case and you just need to pay the extra luggage allowance I promise i won't leave it a lost luggage dept -------at Glasgow airport
Sorry Biff could not help that one, my mishap was 10years ago and have never forgotten it but can laugh now.
I am glad you are safe and all goes good for you. It is grand designing new home, making new friends etc i am missing that feeling so hope my holiday with son will dispel that feeling for a bit longer
