Am I a Hoarder?

During a recent conversation I was called a hoarder, I dont agree.

A small example of what I have:-

2 fridge freezers, a beer fridge and a chest freezer ( 2 kitchens)
3 Ovens
4 coffee machines (I did have 6)
50 plus coffee mugs and glasses ( I collected them)
4 dinner services,( I have these as I tend to put plates in my drawers and stack them on my printer and run out of plates after a week or so.)
5 Drills, about 6 sanders and more screwdrivers than the population of Wales.
Boxes of payslips and utilities bills from 20 years ago (as personal history)

I have stuff, so wonder am I a hoarder or just living in luxury?

Ash, Legally I have no kids, but I suppose I could have 20 or more dotted around the world, doesn't make me a hoarder though.

Molly, If I self answer, Id say Im not a hoarder, just have spares and as I eat a lot of Swan I need extra fridge space.

Molly, I get sent swan meat by my friend Liz from Buckingham Palace, mere plebs are forbidden to eat it, its much nicer than Turkey which really is poor peoples food.

JJ In my defense I dont have a lot of rubbish, and lots of tools are a mans right, I have over 100m2 of garages, I have no idea what I will find when or If I clean them, I suspect a tribe of pygmies maybe living in one.

have you an interest in china I have 4 sets are perfect and loads of bloody annsley stuff I ..nice little cups with delicate handles for your coffee matching saucers ..hard to know what to do with .are old one day I will bring in bin and dump I thin no one wants them either ..did this in kitchen dupmped all electric things just kept kettle is no grand and easy keep tidy

R.U and Emmy, I can easily walk around the house, I dont have anything like the TV program the hoarders, just too many of the same items, I hope to think I'm a collector, but do hoard a few things.

I think that we just gain stuff as we get older

I started to clear my c..p and my daughter stopped me saying she might want it, well I wish she would have it. So saying that I am working on my clothes and gave 6 bags to charity.

I think we all have some things that are maybe a couple too many. It just happens... don't know how. I gave away and sold what I thought more than half of my stuff when I moved here. Still ended up with 4 spatulas, at least 20 dinner plates and more cutlery than an average restaurant. It is not hoarding... I think. Things just accumulate for some unknown reason. Wish it was rather clamps and cordless drills than bloody cutlery and spatulas.

emmy, you cant be blamed for that, at least if you carry on buying cordless drills you will always have one charged up.

Molly, It wasnt me that insinuated I was a hoarder, I agree I have too many similar items and will deal with them, but as to being a hoarder, no Im not.

Molly, Thats a good point, I welcome all the hoarders in denial, Its not an exclusive club, anyone with more than two of something is a potential member, VIP membership for 4 or more items.
