7-day journal of a newbie
Day one:Window shopping.
Loads of e-mails from random guys.
Day two:
Hours answering all e-mails.
Felling exhausted.
What am I doing here?
Day three:
Found the blogs, but couldn't post.
Feeling like a stalker, secretly watching.
Learned about scammers.
Day four:
Wrote to a nice guy I liked. Feeling hopeful.
Checked my mailbox 398 times. No reply.
Blocked a few scammers.
Day five:
Still no reply. Clearly, he is not interested.
Struggling with my feelings to not write again.
Dignity lost the battle.
Day six:
Learned to live with rejection.
The flow of e-mails decreased to a bearable pace.
Empty mailbox.
What am I doing here?
Day seven:
Officially promoted to a CS citizen.
Time to post.

I'm happy to mentor you a bit, until you get your own ideas.. You could start with a blog about waking up in the dentists office, with your pants on back to front. You hear about these things happening all the time, and so I've started wearing my pants back to front when I arrive, so they're the right way round when I wake up.
Welcome to CS and yes it is as bad as you think
I'm very happy to be here.
Well, Pat8lanips...I appreciate your offer on topics, but you have pretty unusual ideas for blogging.
I`d rather learn on the job, so I can't blame anyone but myself for good or bad ideas.
Yes learn on your own
Rejection on CS
Now that's the kicker...
No offers of undevoted love
Proposals
Offers of unlimited wealth
And finding your soul mate. ....
Come on guys we got a live one here
Wakey wakey
Rise and shine.....
Mr. Wenever, thanks for supporting me. Experience is the best teacher.
Old blue, I experienced a bit of both: rejection and a marriage proposal by Mr. Perfect who desperately fell in love with me after reading my profile. Soooo real...
I hope you enjoy the banter on here! Lots of nice people on here. You will make a lot of friends here.....I hope!
Nice pic...close to black & white...a bit grainy...askew...
You might be able to get a ride in Map's...er.. someone's...Mobile Physics Laboratory.
It's a sin in blogland.
Sounds good...I'll look into it.
Now that Brazil has accepted $10 billion to take in Murkun refugees when the Yellowstone Caldera Super Volcano blows up...
@4:40 -
...what say we get to know each other.
...
It'll make it easier for me...being a refugee, you understand.
Might get me to the head of the refugee line, too....
can always compare it to forums or be a doubler. Post your blog's
there to. here have a shot first....then copy and paste away.
Definitely French in origin, not American.must tell Pat.*
Hunny Bunny ..no coffee.it's happy hour.
Nice blog
Happy hour? Are you buying?
I hope you find whom your looking for here. I can honestly tell you that I have met the most wonderful girl in the world on CS. Her name is Mimi and I feel so very fortunate.
I say it's a tempting proposal: having my very own refugee, what woman wouldn't want that?
There is also the $10 billion bonus, not that I care much for money, but it would help with the basic expenses.
I've already have a little list of the chores you could do, nothing much, you'll be free by 10 pm to do whatever you like. I'm afraid I cannot pay you for your job. I hope this is no issue for you. You must understand I'll be already lodging and feeding you, right?
It's very sweet of you to take the time and check my profile
My live is an open book written in Sanskrit.
Your profile is very welcoming, by the way.
It's possible that he isn't. I'll hold to that thought.
Ashlander, thanks for the tips.
Niceguy, that's great news. I wish you two all the best!
It means not all hope is lost!
Congratulations on your decision to acquire an Murkun refugee!
Your refugee will provide you a yet to be determined length of time to accomplish your odd job needs...the exact time to be determined by the nature & magnitude of the impending cataclysm - pyroclastic flow, depth of volcanic ash, extent of lava flow relative to its cooling to temps consistent with the existence of carbon based life forms...you know...the usual boring minor details associated with an Extinction Level Event (ELE)
And prevailing winds, of course.
As I wish to be a well-informed refugee, I'm studying up on Brazil...
This is proving to be a rather daunting undertaking as I'm a mite geographically challenged
BUT...I've already learned that it is located in Southern Murka
Sooo...it's located between Murka and Mexico...right?
As I've not been able to find it on a map, I'm guessing it's kinda small...
Room & board are quite amenable...considering the alternative
"She Had Rested Her Thoughts"
"For It Was Just Then... Just There"
"When She Saw.... What She Bought".................
