Work-Family Balance
I have been a workaholic for most of my life, but hey, I think I'm cured now. Through experience, I have noticed that when a person gets a lot of satisfaction from the work he does, one becomes so immersed in his work that nothing else really matters to him. No need for sports, entertainment, leisure, relaxation because the person is focused on one goal, and everything he does is in the direction of that goal.Is this right ?
Do we have to work to live or live to work ? If we enjoy what we do for a living, and get paid for it, is it still considered as work ? How many of us go the extra mile at work without expecting to be paid extra for it ?
This is not merely rhetoric, but questions I have asked myself over and over again.
Recently, I have learnt to appreciate my free time, in which I can indulge in my numerous pastime activities, and really appreciate the finer things that life can offer. Quality over quantity. I would rather live a shorter fulfilled life than a long one without any meaning, motivation or enthusiasm.

We don't know what life throws at us and deal with it as it comes. I never wanted to get divorced and devoted my life to my children and being stay at home Mom. I loved been able to see all my children's school events and spent quality time with them. They are now amazing successful young adults which I am proud.
I have never found my passion for work. I have been an entrepreneur and tried different industries and can't find what I love to do :( I work for money. I wish i can find my passion and get paid for it ! :)
I really enjoy my job, and get satisfaction from it, but once I walk out that dor in the evening, i don't think about it until i walk back in the following morning.
Work is not my life, simply a part of it.
