No Non, in LA they do not use that word ...not even the masculine name (which is worst if you dare to mention it) ....in LA each country has their own "nice words" but they primary use sentences...
It´s funny, there is a word "arrechera" which could drive you crazy ...it has at least 20 different meanings ...it all depends of the context ....
