Christmas, Meaning and the People!!!

The celebration and the meaning of Christmas varies from person to person and from one group of people to an another group of people and so on ........

Christmas for me is all about the GATEWAY which Yeshua (Jesus) opened for other nations to enter and be one with his FATHER, the nations entered and were blessed & flourished, afterwhich they closed the Gate, awaiting since centuries for the MESSIAH to come in and open it, BUT this time the GATE is narrow, only the few will enter.

On Christmas day "I pray that let everyone on earth be included in these FEW ONES".

Well said. The pressure of Christmas is now almost solely commercial and so few are practising christians in any shape or form. You dont have to go to church regularly to be a good christian but many dont go at all yet many "celebrate" christmas !!

It can be a sad time for so many and accentuates their isolation .

Christmas here (in PE) is a time when nearly all prices get ridiculous because of the influx of tourists and inland folk all wanting to have a good time. Only bonus is the weather.mumbling
